Sunan an-Nasa'i 3584
Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) organized a race of horses that had been made lean, from Al-Hafya' and its finish line was Thaniyyat Al-Wada', and he organized another race for horses that had not been made lean, from Ath-Thaniyyah to the Masjid of Banu Zuraiq, and Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was among those who took part in the race.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے سدھائے ہوئے گھوڑوں کے درمیان آگے بڑھنے کا مقابلہ کرایا، ( دوڑ کی ) آخری حد حفیاء سے شروع ہو کر ثنیۃ الوداع تک تھی، ( ایسے ہی ) رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ان گھوڑوں کے درمیان بھی ثنیۃ سے لے کر مسجد بنی زریق کے درمیان دوڑ کا مقابلہ کرایا جو، غیر تربیت یافتہ تھے ( جو مشقت اور بھوک و تکلیف کے عادی نہ تھے ) ۔ نافع کہتے ہیں: عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما ان لوگوں میں سے تھے جن ہوں نے اس مقابلے کے دوڑ میں حصہ لیا تھا۔
Abdullah bin Umar razi Allah unhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah ﷺ ne sudhaye huwe ghoron ke darmiyaan aage barhne ka muqabla karaya, ( daud ki ) aakhri had Hafya se shuru ho kar Saniyah al-Wada' tak thi, ( aise hi ) Rasul Allah ﷺ ne un ghoron ke darmiyaan bhi Saniyah se le kar Masjid Bani Zuraiq ke darmiyaan daud ka muqabla karaya jo, ghair tarbiyat yaafta the ( jo mushqat aur bhook o takleef ke aadi na the ) . Nafi kehte hain: Abdullah bin Umar razi Allah unhuma un logon mein se the jin hon ne is muqabale ke daud mein hissa liya tha.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَابَقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ الَّتِي قَدْ أُضْمِرَتْ مِنَ الْحَفْيَاءِ وَكَانَ أَمَدُهَا ثَنِيَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ وَسَابَقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ الَّتِي لَمْ تُضْمَرْ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ وَأَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ كَانَ مِمَّنْ سَابَقَ بِهَا .
