Sunan an-Nasa'i 4824
Al-Muhgirah bin Shu'bah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘a woman of Banu Lihyan struck her co-wife with a tent pole and killed her, and the slain woman was pregnant. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ruled that the Diyah was to be paid by the Asbah of the killer, and that a slave should be given (as Diyah) for the child in her womb.’

مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ بنی لحیان کی ایک عورت نے اپنی سوکن کو خیمے کی لکڑی سے مارا، جس سے وہ مر گئی، مقتولہ حمل سے تھی، تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے قاتل عورت کے خاندان والوں پر دیت اور پیٹ کے بچے کے لیے ایک «غرہ» یعنی ایک غلام یا لونڈی دینے کا فیصلہ کیا۔
Mughira bin Sha'bah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Bani Lihyan ki ek aurat ne apni saukan ko khayme ki lakdi se mara, jis se woh mar gayi, maqtool-ah hamil se thi, to Rasool-ullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne qatil aurat ke khandan walon par diyat aur pet ke bache ke liye ek «Ghira» yani ek ghulam ya laundi dene ka faisla kiya.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ نُضَيْلَةَ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ ضَرَبَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي لِحْيَانَ ضَرَّتَهَا بِعَمُودِ الْفُسْطَاطِ فَقَتَلَتْهَا وَكَانَ بِالْمَقْتُولَةِ حَمْلٌ فَقَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى عَصَبَةِ الْقَاتِلَةِ بِالدِّيَةِ وَلِمَا فِي بَطْنِهَا بِغُرَّةٍ .
