Chapter: Can Anyone Be Blamed For The sin Of Another?

باب هَلْ يُؤْخَذُ أَحَدٌ بِجَرِيرَةِ غَيْرِهِ
Sunan an-Nasa'i 4839
Tariq and Muharibi narrated that a man said, ‘O Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), these are Banu Tha'labah who killed so and so during the Jahiliyyah, avenger us! He raised his arms until the whiteness of his armpits could be seen and said, ‘no mother's sin can affect her child.’ twice.

طارق محاربی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ بنو ثعلبہ ہیں جنہوں نے زمانہ جاہلیت میں فلاں کو قتل کیا تھا، لہٰذا آپ ہمارا بدلہ دلائیے، تو آپ نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھائے یہاں تک کہ میں نے آپ کی بغل کی سفیدی دیکھی، آپ فرما رہے تھے: ”کسی ماں کا قصور کسی بیٹے پر نہیں ہو گا“ ایسا آپ نے دو مرتبہ کہا۔
Tariq Muharbi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se Riwayat hai ke aik shakhs ne kaha: Allah ke Rasool! Yeh Banu Sa'lba hain jin hon ne zamana jahiliyat mein filan ko qatl kiya tha, lihaza aap humara badla dilaie, to aap ne apne dono hath uthaye yahan tak ke maine aap ki bagal ki safedi dekhi, aap farma rahe the: "Kisi maa ka qusoor kisi bete per nahin hoga" aisa aap ne do martaba kaha.
أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا يَزِيدُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ - عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ طَارِقٍ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَؤُلاَءِ بَنُو ثَعْلَبَةَ الَّذِينَ قَتَلُوا فُلاَنًا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ . فَخُذْ لَنَا بِثَأْرِنَا . فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ بَيَاضَ إِبْطَيْهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ " لاَ تَجْنِي أُمٌّ عَلَى وَلَدٍ " . مَرَّتَيْنِ .
