Sunan an-Nasa'i 5409
Abbad bin Shurahbil (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that I came to Madinah with my paternal uncles and entered one of its gardens, where I rubbed an ear of grain (to take some grains). The owner of the garden came, took my cloak, and hit me. I came to the Apostle of Allah ( صلى ہللا عليه و آلهوسلم) and sought his help against him. He sent for the man and they brought him. He said, 'what made you do that?' He said, 'O Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), he entered my garden and took one of the ears of grain and rubbed it.' The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'you did not teach him if he was ignorant, nor feed him if he was hungry. Give him back his cloak.' And the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ordered me with a Wasq or half a Wasq.’

عباد بن شرحبیل رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں اپنے چچاؤں کے ساتھ مدینے آیا تو وہاں کے ایک باغ میں گیا اور ایک بالی ( توڑ کر ) مسل ڈالی، اتنے میں باغ کا مالک آ گیا، اس نے میری چادر چھین لی اور مجھے مارا، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس آ کر آپ سے اس کے خلاف مدد چاہی، چنانچہ آپ نے اس شخص کو بلا بھیجا۔ لوگ اسے لے کر آئے، آپ نے فرمایا: ”اس اقدام پر تمہیں کس چیز نے اکسایا؟“ وہ بولا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ میرے باغ میں آیا اور بالی توڑ کر مسل دی، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”نہ تو تم نے اسے بتایا جب کہ وہ ناسمجھ تھا، نہ تم نے اسے کھلایا جبکہ وہ بھوکا تھا، اس کی چادر اسے لوٹا دو“، اور مجھے رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ایک وسق یا آدھا وسق دینے کا حکم دیا ۔
Abad bin Sharhabil (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke main apne chachaon ke sath Madine aya to wahan ke ek bagh mein gaya aur ek bali ( tor kar ) musal dali, itne mein bagh ka malik aa gaya, us ne meri chadar chheen li aur mujhe mara, main ne Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pas aa kar aap se is ke khilaf madad chahi, chananchh aap ne us shakhs ko bhi bheja. Log use le kar aaye, aap ne farmaya: ''Is iqdam per tumhen kis chez ne aksaya?'' woh bola: Allah ke Rasool! yeh mere bagh mein aya aur bali tor kar musal di, Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ''Nuh to tum ne use bataya jab ke woh nasamjh tha, nah tum ne use khaya jab ke woh bhuka tha, is ki chadar use lota do'', aur mujhe Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek wasq ya adha wasq dene ka hukm diya 1؎.
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُبَشِّرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، جَعْفَرِ بْنِ إِيَاسٍ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ شَرَاحِيلَ، قَالَ قَدِمْتُ مَعَ عُمُومَتِي الْمَدِينَةَ فَدَخَلْتُ حَائِطًا مِنْ حِيطَانِهَا فَفَرَكْتُ مِنْ سُنْبُلِهِ فَجَاءَ صَاحِبُ الْحَائِطِ فَأَخَذَ كِسَائِي وَضَرَبَنِي فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَسْتَعْدِي عَلَيْهِ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى الرَّجُلِ فَجَاءُوا بِهِ فَقَالَ " مَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى هَذَا " . فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ دَخَلَ حَائِطِي فَأَخَذَ مِنْ سُنْبُلِهِ فَفَرَكَهُ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَا عَلَّمْتَهُ إِذْ كَانَ جَاهِلاً وَلاَ أَطْعَمْتَهُ إِذْ كَانَ جَائِعًا ارْدُدْ عَلَيْهِ كِسَاءَهُ " . وَأَمَرَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِوَسْقٍ أَوْ نِصْفِ وَسْقٍ .
