Sunan an-Nasa'i 5413
Sahl bin Sa'd Al-Sa'idi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that words were exchanged between two clans of the Ansar, to the point that they began to throw rocks at one another. The Prophet ( صلى ہللا عليهو آله وسلم) went to reconcile between them. The time for prayer came, so Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) called Adhan and waited for the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), but he was delayed. He said the Iqamah and Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه), went forward (to lead the prayer). Then the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came while Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was leading the people in prayer, and when the people saw him, they clapped. Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) would not turn around when he was praying, but when he heard them clapping, he turned around and saw the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). He wanted to step back but the Prophet ( صلى ہللا عليه و آلهوسلم) gestured to him to stay where he was. Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) raised his hands, then he moved backward, and the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came forward and led (the rest of) the prayer. When the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) finished praying, he said, 'what prevented you from staying where you were?' He said, 'I would not like Allah to see the son of Abu Quhafah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) standing in front of His Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).' Then the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) turned to the people and said, 'if you noticed something while you were praying, why did you clap? That is for women. Whoever notices something while he is praying, let him say, ‘Subhan Allah’ ( ِهسُبْحَانَ َّللا).

سہل بن سعد ساعدی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ انصار کے دو قبیلوں کے درمیان تکرار ہوئی یہاں تک کہ وہ ایک دوسرے کو پتھر مارنے لگے، تو نبی اکرم ﷺ ان کے درمیان صلح کرانے گئے، اتنے میں نماز کا وقت ہو گیا، تو بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے اذان دی اور آپ کا انتظار کیا اور رکے رہے، پھر اقامت کہی اور ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ آگے بڑھے، اتنے میں نبی اکرم ﷺ آ گئے، ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ لوگوں کو نماز پڑھا رہے تھے، جب لوگوں نے آپ کو دیکھا تو ( بتانے کے لیے ) تالی بجا دی۔ ( ابوبکر نماز میں کسی اور طرف توجہ نہیں دیتے تھے ) پھر جب انہوں نے ان سب کی تالی کی آواز سنی تو مڑے، دیکھا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ ہیں، انہوں نے پیچھے ہٹنے کا ارادہ کیا، تو آپ نے وہیں رہنے کا اشارہ کیا، تو ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھائے اور الٹے پاؤں پیچھے ہٹے، پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ آگے بڑھے اور نماز پڑھائی، پھر جب رسول اللہ ﷺ نے نماز پوری کر لی تو فرمایا: ”تمہیں وہیں رکنے سے کس چیز نے روکا؟“ وہ بولے: یہ ممکن نہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ابوقحافہ کے بیٹے کو اپنے نبی کے آگے دیکھے، پھر آپ لوگوں کی طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور فرمایا: ”تمہیں کیا ہو گیا ہے کہ جب تمہیں نماز میں کوئی چیز پیش آتی ہے تو تالی بجانے لگتے ہو، یہ تو عورتوں کے لیے ہے، تم میں سے کسی کو جب کوئی بات پیش آئے تو وہ «سبحان اللہ» کہے“۔
Sahl bin Saad Sa'adi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Ansar ke do qabilon ke darmiyan takrar hui yahan tak ke woh ek doosre ko patthar marne lage, to Nabi Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) un ke darmiyan sulh karane gaye, itne mein namaz ka waqt ho gaya, to Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne azan di aur aap ka intezar kiya aur rake rahe, phir iqamat kahi aur Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aage badhe, itne mein Nabi Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) a gaye, Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) logoon ko namaz padha rahe the, jab logoon ne aap ko dekha to ( batane ke liye ) tali baja di. ( Abu Bakr namaz mein kisi aur taraf tawajjuh nahi dete the ) phir jab unhon ne in sab ki tali ki awaz suni to mudde, dekha ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hain, unhon ne pichhe hatne ka irada kiya, to aap ne wahin rahne ka ishara kiya, to Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne apne donon hath uthaye aur ulte paon pichhe hate, phir Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aage badhe aur namaz padhai, phir jab Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne namaz puri kar li to farmaya: "Tumhen wahin rakhne se kis cheez ne roka?" woh bole: yeh mumkin nahi ke Allah Ta'ala Abu Qahafa ke bete ko apne Nabi ke aage dekhe, phir aap logoon ki taraf mutawwajj hue aur farmaya: "Tumhen kya ho gaya hai ke jab tumhen namaz mein koi cheez pesh aati hai to tali bajane lagte ho, yeh to auraton ke liye hai, tum mein se kisi ko jab koi baat pesh aaye to woh «Subhan Allah» kahe".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيَّ، يَقُولُ وَقَعَ بَيْنَ حَيَّيْنِ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ كَلاَمٌ حَتَّى تَرَامَوْا بِالْحِجَارَةِ فَذَهَبَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِيُصْلِحَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَأَذَّنَ بِلاَلٌ وَانْتُظِرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَاحْتُبِسَ فَأَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ وَتَقَدَّمَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رضى الله عنه فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ النَّاسُ صَفَّحُوا - وَكَانَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ لاَ يَلْتَفِتُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ - فَلَمَّا سَمِعَ تَصْفِيحَهُمُ الْتَفَتَ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَرَادَ أَنْ يَتَأَخَّرَ فَأَشَارَ إِلَيْهِ أَنِ اثْبُتْ فَرَفَعَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رضى الله عنه يَعْنِي يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ نَكَصَ الْقَهْقَرَى وَتَقَدَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَصَلَّى فَلَمَّا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الصَّلاَةَ قَالَ " مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَثْبُتَ " . قَالَ مَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَرَى ابْنَ أَبِي قُحَافَةَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ نَبِيِّهِ . ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَقَالَ " مَا لَكُمْ إِذَا نَابَكُمْ شَىْءٌ فِي صَلاَتِكُمْ صَفَّحْتُمْ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لِلنِّسَاءِ مَنْ نَابَهُ شَىْءٌ فِي صَلاَتِهِ فَلْيَقُلْ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ " .
