Sunan an-Nasa'i 5741
Bassam narrated that he asked Abu Ja'far (رضي الله تعالى عنه) about Nabidh and he said, ‘Ali bin Husain (رضئ هللا تعالی عنہ) would have Nabidh made for him at night, and he would drink it in the morning, and he would have Nabidh made in the morning, and he would drink it at night.’

بسام کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابو جعفر سے نبیذ کے بارے میں پوچھا، تو انہوں نے کہا: علی بن حسین کے لیے رات کو نبیذ تیار کی جاتی تو وہ صبح کو پیتے، اور صبح کو تیار کی جاتی تو رات کو پیتے۔
Basam kehte hain ke main ne Abu Ja'far se Nabidh ke bare mein poocha, to unhon ne kaha: Ali bin Hussain ke liye raat ko Nabidh tayyar ki jati to woh subah ko peete, aur subah ko tayyar ki jati to raat ko peete.
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ بَسَّامٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيذِ، قَالَ كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ رضى الله عنه يُنْبَذُ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَيَشْرَبُهُ غُدْوَةً وَيُنْبَذُ لَهُ غُدْوَةً فَيَشْرَبُهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ .
