Sunan an-Nasa'i 825
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah, from his father that the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said: "I stand in prayer, then I hear a child crying, so I make my prayer brief, because I do not want to cause hardship for his mother."
Grade: Sahih
ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا: میں نماز میں کھڑا ہوتا ہوں اور بچوں کا رونا سنتا ہوں تو اپنی نماز ہلکی کر دیتا ہوں، اس ڈر سے کہ میں اس کی ماں کو مشقت میں نہ ڈال دوں ۔
Ab waqta da rahaze Allahu anhu kehte hain ke Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: main namaz mein khada hota hoon aur bachon ka rona sunta hoon to apni namaz halki kar deta hoon, is dar se ke main is ki maa ko mushqqiat mein na dal doon.
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنِّي لأَقُومُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَأَسْمَعُ بُكَاءَ الصَّبِيِّ فَأُوجِزُ فِي صَلاَتِي كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمِّهِ " .
