Sunan an-Nasa'i 852
It was narrated from Hisham bin 'Urwah from his father that 'Abdullih bin Arqam ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) used to lead his companions in prayer. The time for prayer came one day and he went to relieve himself then he came back and said : "I heard the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) say: 'If any one of you feels the need to defecate, let him do that first, before he prays."'

عروہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ عبداللہ بن ارقم رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے لوگوں کی امامت کرتے تھے، ایک دن نماز کا وقت آیا، تو وہ اپنی حاجت کے لیے چلے گئے، پھر واپس آئے اور کہنے لگے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو کہتے سنا ہے: جب تم میں سے کوئی پاخانہ کی حاجت محسوس کرے، تو نماز سے پہلے اس سے فارغ ہو لے ۔
Arooh riwayat karte hain ke Abdullah bin Arqam (رضي الله تعالى عنه) apne logoon ki imamat karte the, ek din namaz ka waqt aaya, to woh apni hajat ke liye chale gaye, phir wapis aaye aur kahne lage ke main ne Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko kahte suna hai: Jab tum mein se koi pakhana ki hajat mahsus kare, to namaz se pehle us se farigh ho le.
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ، كَانَ يَؤُمُّ أَصْحَابَهُ فَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ يَوْمًا فَذَهَبَ لِحَاجَتِهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِذَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْغَائِطَ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِهِ قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ " .
