Muadh bin Jabal, may Allah be pleased with him, said: I poured water over the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, so he washed his two hands and rinsed his mouth, then he sniffed water into his nose and blew it out, washed his face, washed his forearms, wiped his head, and wiped over his socks and turban.

سیدنا مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: میں نے نبی ﷺ پر پانی ڈالا تو آپ ﷺ نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھ دھوئے اور کلی کی، پھر ناک جھاڑا، اپنا چہرہ دھویا، اپنی کلائیاں دھوئیں، پیشانی کا مسح کیا اور موزوں اور پگڑی پر مسح کیا۔
Sayyidina Mughirah bin Shubah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kahte hain: main ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) par pani dala to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne donon hath dhoye aur kuli ki, phir nak jhada, apna chehra dhoya, apni kalaiyan dhoyeen, peshani ka masah kiya aur mozon aur pagdi par masah kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الصَّفَّارُ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ الرَّمْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، وَأَيُّوبَ ، وَحَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ:" صَبَبْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ، وَمَضْمَضَ، وَاسْتَنْثَرَ، وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ، وَذِرَاعَيْهِ، وَمَسَحَ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ وَعَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْعِمَامَةِ"، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ، إِلا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ
