Al-Mu'jam al-Saghir 902
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Do not speak ill of my Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, for if any one of you were to give in charity gold equivalent to Mount Uhud, it would not equal even one mudd or half a mudd of what they gave."

سیدنا ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میرے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم کو بُرا بھلا مت کہو کیوں کہ تم میں سے کوئی آدمی اگر اُحد پہاڑ کے برابر سونا صدقہ کرے تو وہ ان کے ایک مد یا اس کے نصف مد کے برابر بھی نہیں پہنچ سکتا۔“
Sayyidina Abusaid Khudri raziallahu anhu kehte hain ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Mere sahaba raziallahu anhum ko bura bhala mat kaho kyunki tum mein se koi aadmi agar uhud pahar ke barabar sona sadqa kare to woh un ke ek mud ya us ke nisf mud ke barabar bhi nahin pahunch sakta.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْوَكِيعِيُّ ، بِمِصْرَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَاحِ الدُّولابِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:"لا تَسُبُّوا أَصْحَابِي، فَلَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ أَنْفَقَ مثل أُحُدٍ ذَهَبًا مَا بَلَغَ مُدَّ أَحَدِهِمْ وَلا نَصِيفَهُ"، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُحَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، إِلا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ، وَرَوَاهُ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
