Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah 101
Ibn Umar (RA) (رضي الله تعالى عنه) relates that the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ had a ring made of gold which he wore on his right hand. The Sahabah (رضي الله تعالى عنه)m in imitating the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ also had gold rings made for themselves. Thereafter, the Prophet ﷺ of Allah sallallah alaihe wasallam threw away the gold ring and said, "I will never wear it again."
’’سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے وہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے سونے کی انگوٹھی بنوائی، اسے آپ ﷺ اپنے دائیں ہاتھ میں پہنتے تھے تو لوگوں نے بھی سونے کی انگوٹھیاں بنوالیں، پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے وہ انگوٹھی پھینک دی اور فرمایا : ’’میں اسے کبھی نہیں پہنوں گا‘‘ تو لوگوں نے بھی اپنی انگوٹھیاں پھینک دیں۔ ‘‘
Sayyidna Abdullah bin Umar razi Allah anhu se marvi hai woh farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne sone ki anguthi banwai, ise aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne dayen hath mein pehnte the to logon ne bhi sone ki anguthiyan banwalin, phir Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne woh anguthi phenk di aur farmaya: "main ise kabhi nahin pehnoon ga" to logon ne bhi apni anguthiyan phenk din.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، فَكَانَ يَلْبَسُهُ فِي يَمِينِهِ، فَاتَّخَذَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَطَرَحَهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ: ((لَا أَلْبَسُهُ أَبدًا)) فَطَرَحَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ
