Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyab (R.A.) and Hazrat Hassan (R.A.) state that there is no time limit in Zihar, and Ila does not apply to it, no matter how long it lasts.
حضرت سعید بن مسیب (رض) اور حضرت حسن (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ظہار میں وقت نہیں ہوتا اور اس میں ایلاء داخل نہیں ہوتا خواہ وہ کتناہی طویل کیوں نہ ہوجائے۔
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyab (RA) aur Hazrat Hassan (RA) farmate hain ke zahaar mein waqt nahin hota aur is mein ilaa dakhil nahin hota chahe wo kitna hi tawil kyun na ho jaye.
Hazrat Abraham (A.S.) said that if a person has intercourse with his wife and has not specified any time limit, then his wife will not be separated from him, even if she does not have intercourse with him, as long as she is waiting for the expiry of the Iddah.
حضرت ابراہیم (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر کسی شخص نے اپنی بیوی سے جماع کیا اور کوئی وقت مقرر نہ کیا تو اس کی بیوی اس سے جدا نہیں ہوگی خواہ وہ اس سے جماع نہ کرے، جبکہ تک کہ وہ کفارے کا انتظار کررہا ہے۔
Hazrat Ibrahim (RA) farmate hain keh agar kisi shakhs ne apni biwi se jima kia aur koi waqt muqarrar na kia to uski biwi us se juda nahi hogi chahe wo us se jima na kare, jabke tak keh wo kaffare ka intezar kar raha hai.
Hazrat Shabi (may Allah be pleased with him) said that if a man said to his wife that if I come near you for one year, then you are like the back of my mother to me, then it will not be considered Ila.
حضرت شعبی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر ایک آدمی نے اپنی بیوی سے کہا کہ اگر میں ایک سال تک تیرے قریب آیا تو تو میرے لیے میری ماں کی پشت کی طرح ہے تو ایلاء ظہار میں داخل نہیں ہوگا۔
Hazrat Shabi (RA) farmate hain ki agar aik aadmi ne apni biwi se kaha ki agar mein aik saal tak tere qareeb aaya to tu mere liye meri maan ki pusht ki tarah hai to ila zohar mein dakhil nahi hoga.
Hazrat Hukm (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Hammad (may Allah be pleased with him) said that if a man says to his wife that she is like his mother's back to him for four months, and four months pass, then this is Ila (oath of abstinence). And if he says that she is like his mother's back and then leaves her for a year, then this is not Ila.
حضرت حکم (رض) اور حضرت حماد (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر کسی شخص نے اپنی بیوی کے بارے میں کہا کہ وہ اس کے لیے چار مہینے تک اس کی ماں کی پشت کی طرح ہے، اور چار مہینے گذر گئے تو یہ ایلاء ہے اور اگر یہ کہا کہ وہ اس کی ماں کی پشت کی طرح ہے اور پھر اسے ایک سال تک چھوڑے رکھا تو یہ ایلاء نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Hukam (RA) aur Hazrat Hammad (RA) farmate hain keh agar kisi shakhs ne apni biwi ke bare mein kaha keh woh uske liye chaar mahine tak uski maa ki pusht ki tarah hai, aur chaar mahine guzar gaye to yeh ilaa hai aur agar yeh kaha keh woh uski maa ki pusht ki tarah hai aur phir use ek saal tak chhore rakha to yeh ilaa nahi hai.
