It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Abi Layla that the owner of the clothes asked the washerman to help him in washing. The owner also beat the clothes with the washerman, then the cloth tore. He (Imam Abu Hanifa) said: The washerman will be responsible.
حضرت ابن ابی لیلیٰ سے مروی ہے کہ کپڑے والے نے دھوبی سے صفائی میں مدد طلب کی مالک نے بھی دھوبی کے ساتھ کپڑے کوٹے، پھر کپڑا پھٹ گیا، فرمایا : دھوبی ضامن ہوگا۔
Hazrat Ibn e Abi Laila se marvi hai ke kapre wale ne dhobi se safai mein madad talab ki malik ne bhi dhobi ke sath kapra kote, phir kapra phat gaya, farmaya : dhobi zaman hoga.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي قَصَّارٍ : اسْتَعَانَ صَاحِبَ الثَّوْبِ فَدَقَّ مَعَهُ فَخَرَقَ الثَّوْبَ ، قَالَ : « يَضْمَنُ الْقَصَّارُ »
