Umm Kurz narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Two complete goats for a boy and one goat for a girl." It will not harm you whether they are goats or sheep.
حضرت ام کرز، جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے روایت کرتی ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” بچہ کی طرف سے دو پوری بکریاں اور بچی کی طرف سے ایک بکری۔ “ اس بات سے تمہارا کوئی نقصان نہیں ہوگا کہ وہ بکریاں ہوں یا بکرے ہوں۔ “
Hazrat Umm Karz, Janab Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se riwayat karti hain ke aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Bachay ki taraf se do poori bakriyaan aur bachi ki taraf se ek bakri." Is baat se tumhara koi nuqsan nahi hoga ke woh bakriyaan hon ya bakre hon.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Umm Kurz that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Two complete goats on behalf of the child and one goat on behalf of the child."
حضرت ام کرز سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو فرماتے سُنا۔ ” بچہ کی طرف سے دو پوری بکریاں اور بچہ کی طرف سے ایک بکری۔ “
Hazrat Umm Kurz se riwayat hai ki maine Janaab Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko farmate suna, "Bachay ki taraf se do poori bakrian aur bachay ki taraf se ek bakri."
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Ata that Hazrat Umm-e-Saba'a inquired from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). Should I perform Aqiqah on behalf of my children? You (peace be upon him) said: "Yes." Two goats on behalf of a boy and one goat on behalf of a girl.
حضرت عطاء سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ام السباع نے جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سوال کیا۔ کیا میں اپنی اولاد کی طرف سے عقیقہ کروں ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” ہاں۔ “ بچہ کی طرف سے دو بکریاں اور بچی کی طرف سے ایک بکری۔ “

Hazrat Amr bin Shuaib narrates from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about the sacrifice of 'Aqeeqah. So you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I do not like to disobey (parents). Whoever has a child born to him and he likes to offer a sacrifice on his behalf, then he should sacrifice it, two goats on behalf of a boy and one goat on behalf of a girl."
حضرت عمرو بن شعیب، اپنے والد سے ، اپنے دادا سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے عقیقہ کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا ؟ تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” میں (والدین کی) نافرمانی کرنے کو پسند نہیں کرتا۔ جس آدمی کے بچہ پیدا ہو اور وہ اس کی طرف سے قربانی کرنے کو پسند کرے تو اس کو قربانی کرنی چاہیے، بچہ کی طرف سے دو بکریاں اور بچی کی طرف سے ایک بکری۔ “
Hazrat Amr bin Shuaib apne walid se apne dada se riwayat karte hain ke Janab Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se Aqiqah ke bare mein sawal kiya gaya? To aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: “Mein (waldain ki) nafarmani karne ko pasand nahin karta. Jis aadmi ke bachcha paida ho aur wo uski taraf se qurbani karne ko pasand kare to usko qurbani karni chahie, bachche ki taraf se do bakriyan aur bachchi ki taraf se ek bakri.”
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Mujahid that he said: "In Aqiqah, there are two whole goats, and there will be one goat on behalf of the girl child."
حضرت مجاہد سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ عقیقہ میں دو پوری بکریاں ہیں اور بچی کی طرف سے ایک بکری ہوگی۔
Hazrat Mujahid se riwayat hai. Woh kehte hain ke Aqeeqah mein do poori bakriyaan hain aur bacchi ki taraf se ek bakri hogi.
Hazrat Hafsa bint Abdur Rahman narrates about Hazrat Aisha that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered us to offer a sacrifice of two goats from the side of a boy and one goat from the side of a girl.
حضرت حفصہ بنت عبد الرحمن، حضرت عائشہ کے بارے میں روایت کرتی ہیں کہ انھوں نے ارشاد فرمایا : جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہمیں حکم دیا کہ ہم عقیقہ کریں بچہ کی طرف سے دو بکریاں اور بچی کی طرف سے ایک بکری۔
Hazrat Hafsa Bint Abdur Rahman Hazrat Ayesha ke bare mein riwayat karti hain ke unhon ne irshad farmaya: Janab Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne humein hukm diya ke hum aqiqah karen bachay ki taraf se do bakriyaan aur bacchi ki taraf se ek bakri.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that she said that it is Sunnah to sacrifice two complete goats on behalf of a (male) child and one goat on behalf of a (female) child (as Aqeeqah).
حضرت عائشہ سے روایت ہے وہ کہتی ہیں کہ غلام (بچہ) کی طرف سے دو پوری بکریاں اور بچی کی طرف سے ایک بکری کا (عقیقہ کرنا) سُنت ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha se riwayat hai wo kahti hain ke ghulam (bachcha) ki taraf se do poori bakriyaan aur bachi ki taraf se ek bakri ka (aqiqah karna) sunnat hai.
