Hazrat Ali quotes Hazrat Ibn e Masood that someone asked him about women using silk and gold, to which he replied, "Women are your playthings, so adorn them with whatever you like."
حضرت علقمہ، حضرت ابن مسعود کے بارے میں روایت کرتے ہیں کہ ان سے عورتوں کے (استعمال کے لئے) سونے اور ریشم کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا ؟ تو انھوں نے جواب میں فرمایا : عورتیں تمہاری کھیل ہیں پس تم جس چیز سے چاہو ان کو مزین کرو۔
Hazrat Alqama, Hazrat Ibn Masood ke bare mein riwayat karte hain ke un se auraton ke (istemal ke liye) sone aur resham ke bare mein sawal kiya gaya? To unhon ne jawab mein farmaya: Aurtain tumhari khel hain pas tum jis cheez se chaho un ko mazeen karo.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Mujahid that he said that women are allowed silk and gold, then you read this verse (translation) (Or who is brought up in ornaments and is not clear in dispute)
حضرت مجاہد سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ عورتوں کو ریشم اور سونے (کے استعمال) میں اجازت دی گئی ہے، پھر آپ نے یہ آیت پڑھی (ترجمہ) (أَوَمَنْ یُنَشَّأُ فِی الْحِلْیَۃِ وَہُوَ فِی الْخِصَامِ غَیْرُ مُبِینٍ )
Hazrat Mujahid se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke auraton ko resham aur sone (ke istemal) mein ijazat di gai hai, phir aap ne yeh ayat padhi (tarjuma) (aw man yunnashshau fil hilyati wa huwa fil khisami ghairu mubeen)
It is narrated from Hazrat Ali that Ukaidar Douma gifted a silk cloth to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave that cloth to Hazrat Ali and said: "Distribute it among the women."
حضرت علی سے روایت ہے کہ اکیدر دومہ نے جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو ریشم کا کپڑا ہدیہ کیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے وہ کپڑا حضرت علی کو دے دیا اور فرمایا : ” تم اس کو عورتوں کے درمیان تقسیم کردو۔ “
Hazrat Ali se riwayat hai keh Akidar Doomah ne Janaab Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko resham ka kapda hadiya kiya to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne woh kapda Hazrat Ali ko de diya aur farmaya: "Tum isko auraton ke darmiyan taqseem kardo."
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Musa. He said that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said about silk and gold: "It is forbidden for the men of my Ummah and permissible for their women."
حضرت ابو موسیٰ سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ریشم اور سونے کے بارے میں ارشاد فرمایا : ” میری امت کے مردوں پر حرام ہیں اور ان کی عورتوں کے لیے حلال ہیں۔ “
Hazrat Abu Musa se riwayat hai. Wo kehte hain ke janab rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne resham aur sone ke bare mein irshad farmaya: “Meri ummat ke mardon par haram hain aur un ki auraton ke liye halal hain.”
It is narrated by Hazrat Anas that he said: I saw a shirt of pure silk on Hazrat Zainab bint Rasoolullah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family).
حضرت انس سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت زینب بنت رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر خالص ریشم کی قمیص دیکھی۔
Hazrat Anas se riwayat hai. Wo kehte hain ke maine Hazrat Zainab bint Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par khalis resham ki qamees dekhi.
It is narrated from Hazrat Maimoon bin Mihran (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "There is no harm for women in wearing silk and velvet. Only that garment is disliked for them which is (cleanses the limbs or is thin (too much))."
حضرت میمون بن مہران سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ عورتوں کے لیے دیباج اور ریشم میں کوئی حرج نہیں ہے۔ ان کے لیے صرف وہ کپڑا مکروہ ہے جو (اعضاء کو پاک کرے یا باریک ہو۔ (بہت زیادہ) ۔
Hazrat Maimun bin Mihran se riwayat hai. Wo kehte hain ke auraton ke liye debaj aur resham mein koi harj nahi hai. Un ke liye sirf wo kapda makruh hai jo (a'za ko zahir kare ya bareek ho. (bohat zyada).
