Hazrat Anas narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When any one of you supplicates, then he should supplicate with firm conviction, and do not say: O Allah! Grant me if You wish, for verily, none can compel Allah.
حضرت انس فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا ارشاد ہے کہ : جب بھی تم میں سے کوئی ایک دعا کرے تو اس کو چاہیے پختہ یقین کے ساتھ دعا کرے، ایسا مت کہے : اے اللہ ! اگر تو چاہے تو مجھے عطا فرما، پس یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ کو کوئی مجبور نہیں کرسکتا۔
Hazrat Anas farmate hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka irshad hai ke: Jab bhi tum mein se koi aik dua kare to usko chahiye pakka yaqeen ke sath dua kare, aisa mat kahe: Aye Allah! Agar tu chahe to mujhe ata farma, pas yaqeenan Allah Taala ko koi majboor nahin kar sakta.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Let none of you say, 'If You will, then forgive me.' Rather, let him be resolute in his supplication, for indeed Allah is not compelled by anything."
حضرت ابوہریرہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا ارشاد ہے کہ تم میں سے کوئی ایسا مت کہے : اگر تو چاہے تو میری بخشش فرما، بلکہ اس کو چاہیے کہ وہ اپنی دعا میں پختہ یقین پیدا کرے، پس یقیناً اللہ کو کوئی مجبور نہیں کرسکتا۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira farmate hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka irshad hai ke tum mein se koi aisa mat kahe: Agar tu chahe to meri بخشش farma, balke usko chahie ke woh apni dua mein pakka yaqeen paida kare, pas yaqeenan Allah ko koi majboor nahin kar sakta.
Imam Shabi narrates that Hazrat Aisha said to Ibn Abi Al Saib, who is a storyteller of Makkah, "Avoid being artificial in your supplication. I have known the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his companions, and they did not use to be artificial."
امام شعبی فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عائشہ نے ابن ابی السائب جو کہ اہل مکہ کا قصہ گو ہے سے فرمایا : تم دعا میں تکلف اختیار کرنے سے بچو، میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اور ان کے اصحاب سے واقف ہوں، وہ لوگ تکلف نہیں کیا کرتے تھے۔
Imaam Shabi farmate hain ki Hazrat Ayesha ne Ibn e Abi Alsaib jo keh ahl e Makkah ka qissa go hai se farmaya: Tum dua mein takalluf ikhtiyar karne se bacho, mein Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) aur un ke ashaab se waqif hoon, woh log takalluf nahi kia karte thay.
Hazrat Aisha narrates that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to prefer concise supplications and avoid lengthy ones.
حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جامع دعاؤں کو پسند فرماتے تھے اور جو اس کے درمیان ہوتیں وہ چھوڑ دیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Aisha farmati hain keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jami duaon ko pasand farmate thay aur jo uske darmiyaan hoti thin woh chhor dete thay.
