Hazrat Sahl bin Hunaif narrates that I used to have a lot of trouble due to nightfall and I used to take a bath frequently because of it. I mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Ablution will suffice you from nightfall. Hazrat Sahl says: I submitted: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! What is the ruling on what has gotten on my clothes? You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A splash of water is enough for you. Sprinkle it on the part of your clothes where you think the nightfall has occurred.
حضرت سہل بن حنیف بیان فرماتے ہیں کہ مجھے مذی کی وجہ سے بڑی تکلیف تھی اور میں اس کی وجہ سے بکثرت غسل کرتا تھا۔ میں نے یہ بات رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سامنے ذکر کی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تمہیں مذی سے وضو ہی کفایت کر دے گا۔ حضرت سہل فرماتے ہیں۔ میں نے عرض کیا : یا رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! جو میرے کپڑوں کو لگ گئی ہے اس کا کیا حکم ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ایک چلو پانی تجھے کافی ہے۔ اس کو تو اپنے کپڑوں کے اس حصہ پر چھڑک دے جہاں تیرے گمان کے مطابق مذی لگی ہے۔
Hazrat Sahl bin Hanif bayan farmate hain ke mujhe mazi ki waja se badi takleef thi aur main is ki waja se bakasrat ghusl karta tha. Main ne ye baat Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke samne zikar ki to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya : tumhein mazi se wuzu hi kafiyat kar de ga. Hazrat Sahl farmate hain. Main ne arz kiya : Ya Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ! jo mere kapdon ko lag gai hai is ka kya hukum hai ? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya : ek chulu pani tujhe kafi hai. Is ko to apne kapdon ke is hissa par chhirak de jahan tere guman ke mutabiq mazi lagi hai.
Hazrat Ibn Abbas narrates that if a person experiences a seminal discharge (janabah) on a piece of cloth and sees traces of it on the cloth, then they should wash that cloth. However, if they don't see any traces on the cloth, then they should only sprinkle water on it.
حضرت ابن عباس فرماتے ہیں کہ جب آدمی کسی کپڑے میں جنبی ہوجائے تو پھر وہ اس کپڑے میں اثرات دیکھے تو اس کپڑے کو دھو لینا چاہیے اور اگر کپڑے میں اثرات نہ دیکھے تو پھر اس پر پانی (ہی) چھڑک دے۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas farmate hain keh jab aadmi kisi kapre mein junubi hojaye to phir woh us kapre mein asrat dekhe to us kapre ko dho lena chahie aur agar kapre mein asrat na dekhe to phir us par pani (hi) chhirak de.
Hazrat Abu Ishaq narrates that a man from the tribe said to Abu Musa Ash'ari, "I experienced a wet dream in my clothes, so I checked them, but I couldn't find anything." Abu Musa replied, "When you perform ghusl (ritual bath) and put on your clothes while you are still wet, then that is sufficient for you."
حضرت ابو اسحاق فرماتے ہیں کہ قبیلہ کے ایک آدمی نے ابو میسرہ سے کہا۔ میں اپنے کپڑوں میں (ہی) جنبی ہوا پس میں نے (کپڑوں کو) دیکھا تو مجھے کوئی چیز نظر نہیں آئی ؟ ابو میسرہ نے کہا۔ جب تم غسل کرو اور کپڑے پہن لواس حال میں کہ تم تر ہو تو تمہارے لیے یہی کافی ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Ishaq farmate hain ke qabeele ke ek aadmi ne Abu Misrah se kaha main apne kapron mein hi junubi huwa pas maine kapron ko dekha to mujhe koi cheez nazar nahi aai Abu Misrah ne kaha jab tum ghusal karo aur kapre pehen lo is hal mein ke tum tar ho to tumhare liye yahi kafi hai
It is narrated on the authority of Abraham, regarding a man who had an erotic dream and does not know where the discharge of semen occurred, that such a man should sprinkle water over his clothes.
حضرت ابراہیم سے اس آدمی کے بارے میں جس کو کپڑوں میں احتلام ہوا ہو اور اس کو احتلام کی جگہ معلوم نہ ہو۔ منقول ہے کہ یہ آدمی کپڑے پر پانی چھڑک لے گا۔
Hazrat Ibrahim se is aadmi ke bare mein jis ko kapdon mein ehtelaam hua ho aur us ko ehtelaam ki jaga maloom na ho. Manqol hai ke yeh aadmi kapde par pani chhirak le ga.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Salim that a man asked him. I had a wet dream in my clothes? He said: Wash the clothes. The questioner said: It (the semen) has gotten hidden on me. Hadrat Salim said: Sprinkle water on it.
حضرت سالم کے بارے میں روایت ہے کہ ان سے ایک آدمی نے پوچھا۔ مجھے میرے کپڑوں میں احتلام ہوا ہے ؟ انھوں نے فرمایا : کپڑوں کو دھو لو۔ سائل نے کہا۔ وہ (احتلام والا حصہ) مجھ پر مخفی ہوگیا ہے۔ حضرت سالم نے فرمایا : اس پر پانی چھڑک دو ۔
Hazrat Salem ke baare mein riwayat hai ki un se ek aadmi ne poocha. Mujhe mere kapdon mein ehtelam hua hai? Unhon ne farmaya: Kapdon ko dho lo. Saeil ne kaha. Woh (ehtelam wala hissa) mujh par makhfi ho gaya hai. Hazrat Salem ne farmaya: Iss par pani chhirak do.
It is narrated from Hadrat Saeed bin Musayyab that if you forget (the place of wet dream), then sprinkle water on it.
And the saying of (Imam) Abu Hanifa has been mentioned that: He will not sprinkle water on this cloth. Water (sprinkling) will only increase the impurity (not decrease it).
حضرت سعیدبن مسیب سے منقول ہے کہ اگر تمہیں (موضع احتلام) بھول جائے تو چھڑکاؤ کرلو۔
اور (امام) ابوحنیفہ کا قول یہ ذکر کیا گیا ہے کہ : اس کپڑے پر چھڑکاؤ نہیں کرے گا۔ پانی (کا چھڑکاؤ) نجاست کو زیادہ ہی کرے گا (کم نہیں کرے گا)
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyab se manqol hai keh agar tumhen bhul jaye to chhidkao karlo
Aur Imam Abu Hanifa ka qaul yeh zikar kiya gaya hai keh: Is kapde par chhidkao nahi karega Pani najasat ko zyada hi karega kam nahi karega
