Hazrat Ibn Abbas narrates that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that if a Muhrim does not find a lower garment (izar), he should wear a pajama, and if he does not find shoes, he should wear socks.
حضرت ابن عباس کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی پاک (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو کہتے ہوئے سُنا ہے کہ جب مُحرِم لنگی نہ پائے تو وہ پائجامہ پہن لے اور جب مُحرِم کو جوتے نہ ملیں تو وہ موزے پہن لے۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas kehte hain ke maine Nabi Pak (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko kehte huye suna hai ke jab muhrim lungi na paaye to wo pajama pehen le aur jab muhrim ko joote na milen to wo moze pehen le.
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever does not find shoes, let him wear socks, and whoever does not find a lower garment, let him wear trousers."
حضرت جابر سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : جس کو جوتے نہ ملیں وہ موزے پہن لے اور جس کو لنگی نہ ملے وہ پائجامہ پہن لے۔
Hazrat Jabir se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Jis ko joote na milen wo mozey pehen le aur jis ko lungi na mile wo pajama pehen le.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar that a man asked: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): What should a Muhrim wear? Or he asked: What should a Muhrim leave? You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A Muhrim will not wear a shirt, trousers, turban and socks. Yes, if shoes are not available, then whoever does not find shoes, he may wear socks below the ankles (by cutting them).
And the saying of (Imam) Abu Hanifa has been mentioned that: He will not do so. If he does so, then Dam will be obligatory on the Muhrim.
حضرت ابن عمر سے روایت ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے عرض کیا۔ یا رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) : مُحرِم کیا پہنے ؟ یا پوچھا : مُحرِم کیا چھوڑے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مُحرِم قمیص، پائجامہ ، عمامہ اور موزے نہیں پہنے گا۔ ہاں اگر جوتے نہ ملیں، تو جس کو جوتے نہ ملیں وہ ٹخنوں سے نیچے (کاٹ کر) موزے پہن لے۔
اور (امام) ابوحنیفہ کا قول یہ ذکر کیا گیا ہے کہ : ایسا نہیں کرے گا۔ اگر ایسا کیا تو مُحرِم پر دم لازم ہوگا۔
