Hazrat Muhammad bin Na'man narrates from his father that his father gifted him a slave. And he went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to make you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) a witness to this gift. So you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Have you given such a gift to each of your sons? So he said: No! You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Then take back this gift.
حضرت محمد بن نعمان اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ انھیں ان کے والد نے ایک غلام عطیہ میں دیا۔ اور نبی پاک (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے تاکہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو اس عطیہ پر گواہ بنائیں تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کیا تم نے اپنے ہر لڑکے کو ایسا عطیہ دیا ہے ؟ تو انھوں نے کہا : نہیں ! آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : : پھر تم یہ عطیہ واپس لے لو۔
Hazrat Muhammad bin Nauman apne walid se riwayat karte hain ki unhen un ke walid ne ek ghulam ataa mein diya. Aur Nabi Pak (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hue taake aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko is ataa par gawah banaen to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: kya tum ne apne har larke ko aisa ataa diya hai? To unhon ne kaha: nahin! Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: phir tum ye ataa wapas le lo.
Hazrat Shabi said that I heard Nauman bin Bashir saying that my father gave me a gift, so my mother Amra bint Rawaha said: "I will not be pleased (with it) unless you make the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as a witness to it." Hazrat Nauman said that he (my father) went to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and submitted: "I have given a gift to my son who is from Umrah, and he has asked me to make you a witness to it." You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Have you given such a gift to each of your sons?" He said: "No!" You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Fear Allah and be just among your children."
حضرت شعبی کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نعمان بن بشیر کو کہتے سُنا کہ میرے والد نے مجھے کوئی عطیہ دیا تو میری والد عمرہ بنت رواحہ نے کہا : جب تک تم اس پر نبی پاک (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو گواہ نہ بنا لو میں (اس پر) راضی نہ ہوں گی۔ حضرت نعمان کہتے ہیں کہ وہ (میرے والد) نبی پاک (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا کہ میں نے اپنے بیٹے کو جو عمرہ سے ہے کوئی عطیہ دیا ہے اور اس نے مجھے (اس پر) آپ کو گواہ بنانے کا کہا ہے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کیا تم نے اپنے ہر بیٹے کو ایسا عطیہ دیا ہے ؟ انھوں نے کہا : نہیں ! آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ سے ڈرو اور اپنی اولاد میں عدل کرو۔
Hazrat Shabi kehte hain ki maine Nauman bin Bashir ko kehte suna ki mere walid ne mujhe koi atiya diya to meri walida Umra bint Rawaaha ne kaha: Jab tak tum is par Nabi Pak (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko gawah na bana lo main (is par) raazi na hongi. Hazrat Nauman kehte hain ki woh (mere walid) Nabi Pak (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke paas hazir hue aur arz kiya ki maine apne bete ko jo Umra se hai koi atiya diya hai aur usne mujhe (is par) aap ko gawah banane ka kaha hai. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: kya tumne apne har bete ko aisa atiya diya hai? Unhon ne kaha: nahi! Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Allah se daro aur apni aulaad mein adl karo.
Hazrat Numan bin Bashir narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): I do not bear witness to oppression.
And it has been stated on the authority of (Imam) Abu Hanifa: There is no harm in this.
حضرت نعمان بن بشیر نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا یہ قول روایت کرتے ہیں کہ : میں ظلم پر گواہ نہیں بنتا۔
اور (امام) ابوحنیفہ کا قول یہ ذکر کیا گیا ہے کہ : اس میں کچھ حرج نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Noman bin Bashir Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka yeh qaul riwayat karte hain ke: main zulm par gawah nahi banta.
Aur (Imam) Abu Hanifa ka qaul yeh zikar kya gaya hai ke: is mein kuch harj nahi hai.
