Hazrat Hassan was asked, "A man missed one rak'ah of prayer and joined the prayer. The imam's wudu broke, so he took the hand of this follower and made him lead the prayer. Now, what should he do?" Hazrat Hassan said, "He should offer one rak'ah and sit down. Then, he should complete his prayer with the people. When he has led them for four rak'ahs, he should sit down and recite the tashahhud. Then, he should take the hand of another man and make him lead the prayer. When they have finished the salam, he should stand up and offer the rak'ah that he had missed."
حضرت حسن سے سوال کیا گیا کہ ایک آدمی کی ایک رکعت چھوٹ گئی، وہ نماز میں شامل ہوا، امام کا وضو ٹوٹ گیا تو اس نے اس مقتدی کا ہاتھ پکڑ کر اسے آگے کردیا، اب وہ کیا کرے ؟ حضرت حسن نے فرمایا کہ وہ ایک رکعت پڑھ کر بیٹھ جائے، پھر لوگوں کی نماز پر بنا کرے۔ جب انھیں چار رکعات پڑھا دے تو بیٹھ کر تشہد پڑھے، پھر ایک آدمی کا ہاتھ پکڑ کر اسے آگے کر دے، جب وہ سلام پھیرے تو یہ کھڑے ہو کر اپنی چھوٹی ہوئی رکعت پڑھ لے۔
Hazrat Hassan se sawal kiya gaya keh aik aadmi ki aik rakat chhoot gai, woh namaz mein shamil hua, Imam ka wazu toot gaya tou us ne us muqtadi ka hath pakar kar use aage kar diya, ab woh kya kare? Hazrat Hassan ne farmaya keh woh aik rakat parh kar baith jaye, phir logon ki namaz par bana kare. Jab unhen chaar rakatein parh la day tou baith kar tashahud parhe, phir aik aadmi ka hath pakar kar use aage kar de, jab woh salam phire tou yeh kharay ho kar apni chhoti hui rakat parh le.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الذَّيَّالِ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، فِي الرَّجُلِ يُسْبَقُ بِرَكْعَةٍ ، فَيُحْدِثُ الْإِمَامُ ، فَيَأْخُذُ بِيَدِ الَّذِي سُبِقَ فَيُقَدِّمُهُ كَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ ؟ قَالَ : قَالَ : « يُصَلِّي رَكْعَةً وَيَجْلِسُ ، ثُمَّ يُثْنِي عَلَى صَلَاةِ الْقَوْمِ ، فَإِذَا أَتَمَّ بِهِمْ أَرْبَعًا جَلَسَ فَتَشَهَّدَ ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ بِيَدِ رَجُلٍ فَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ الرَّجُلُ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَهُ الَّتِي سُبِقَ بِهَا »
