Hazrat Rasheed bin Sa'ad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer prayer while carrying their bows.
حضرت راشد بن سعد کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے صحابہ اپنی کمانیں لے کر نماز پڑھا کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Rashid bin Saad kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke Sahaba apni kamanain lekar namaz parha karte thay.
Hazrat Ibrahim states that the Companions used to offer prayer in a state where they had their swords with them, whose sheaths were made of the skin of dead animals.
حضرت ابراہیم فرماتے ہیں کہ صحابہ کرام اس حال میں نماز پڑھتے تھے کہ ان پر ان کی تلواریں ہوتی تھیں جن پر مردار کی کھال کی نیام ہوا کرتی تھی۔
Hazrat Ibrahim farmate hain keh sahaba karam is haal mein namaz parhte thay keh un par un ki talwarein hoti thin jin par murdar ki khaal ki niyam hua karti thi.
Hazrat Salama bin Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "Is it permissible to pray with a bow and a quiver of arrows?" He said, "Pray with the bow, but take off the quiver of arrows."
حضرت سلمہ بن اکوع نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سوال کیا کہ کیا کمان اور تیروں کا تھیلا لے کر نماز پڑھنا ٹھیک ہے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا کہ کمان میں نماز پڑھ، البتہ تیروں کا تھیلا اتار دو ۔
Hazrat Salmah bin Akwa ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se sawal kya ke kya kaman aur teeron ka thila le kar namaz parhna theek hai? Aap ne farmaya ke kaman mein namaz parh, albatta teeron ka thila utar do.
