Hazrat Ata says that if a person observing Itikaf sets a condition that he will observe Itikaf during the day and go to his family at night, then this is not Itikaf.
حضرت عطاء فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر معتکف شرط رکھے کہ وہ دن کے وقت اعتکاف کرے اور رات کو اپنے گھر والوں کے پاس آئے۔ تو یہ اعتکاف نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Ata farmate hain ke agar motakif shart rakhe ke wo din ke waqt etikaf kare aur raat ko apne ghar walon ke paas aaye to ye etikaf nahi hai
Hazrat Hasan says that if a person observing Itikaf wishes, he can have dinner with his family, but he will not go to a shaded place in his house, rather his food will be brought to the courtyard.
حضرت حسن فرماتے ہیں کہ معتکف اگر چاہے تو رات کا کھانا اپنے گھر والوں کے ساتھ کھائے، وہ اپنے گھر کے سائے والی جگہ نہ جائے گا بلکہ اس کا کھانا گھر کے صحن میں لایا جائے گا۔
Hazrat Hassan farmate hain keh motekif agar chahe tou raat ka khana apne ghar walon ke sath khaye, woh apne ghar ke saaye wali jaga na jaye ga balkeh is ka khana ghar ke sahn mein laya jaye ga.
Hazrat Ya'la bin Umayya said to his companion, "Let's go to the mosque," and then they would observe a short period of Itikaf (seclusion for worship) there.
حضرت یعلی بن امیہ اپنے ساتھی سے کہتے کہ چلو مسجد چلیں اور پھر وہاں تھوڑی دیر کا اعتکاف فرماتے۔
Hazrat Ya'la bin Ummaya apne sathi se kehte ke chalo masjid chalen aur phir wahan thori der ka aitekaf farmate.
