Hazrat Aisha narrates that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to observe Itikaf, he would only enter the house for a need. I used to comb your hair and the threshold of the door used to be between me and you.
حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ نبی پاک (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب اعتکاف میں بیٹھتے تو صرف کسی ضرورت کی وجہ سے گھر میں داخل ہوتے تھے۔ میں آپ کا سر مبارک دھوتی تھی اور میرے اور آپ کے درمیان دروازے کی چوکھٹ ہوا کرتی تھی۔
Hazrat Ayesha farmati hain keh Nabi Pak (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab aitkaf mein bethte to sirf kisi zaroorat ki waja se ghar mein dakhil hote thay. Mein aap ka sar mubarak dhoti thi aur mere aur aap ke darmiyan darwaze ki chaukhat hua karti thi.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : « كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ، إِذَا كَانَ مُعْتَكِفًا لَمْ يَدْخُلِ الْبَيْتَ إِلَّا لِحَاجَةٍ »، قَالَتْ : « فَغَسَلْتُ رَأْسَهُ وَإِنَّ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ لَعَتَبَةَ الْبَابِ »
