It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever does not intend to fast before dawn, there is no fast for him."
حضرت حفصہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ جس نے رات سے اپنے اوپر روزہ فرض نہ کیا اس کا روزہ نہیں ہوتا۔
Hazrat Hafsa se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya keh jis ne raat se apne upar roza farz na kiya us ka roza nahi hota.
حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ حَازِمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : « لَا صِيَامَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَفْرِضْهُ بِاللَّيْلِ »
