Hazrat Salem narrates from his father that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wrote down the rules of Zakat and kept them with his sword or (the narrator is doubtful) with his will, and you did not take it out to the workers until you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away from this mortal world. Then Hazrat Siddiq Akbar continued to act upon it till his death, then Hazrat Umar continued to act upon it, in which it was written regarding the Zakat of goats that there are three goats as Zakat on three hundred goats, and if the goats exceed that, then he will pay one goat for every hundred goats. And if the goats exceed that, then he will pay one goat for every hundred goats. On this, nothing is obligatory on less than a hundred.
حضرت سالم اپنے والد سے روایت فرماتے ہیں کہ آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے زکوۃ کے احکام تحریر فرمائے اور ان کو اپنی تلوار کے ساتھ رکھ دیا یا (راوی کو شک ہے) وصیت کے ساتھ، اور آپ نے اس کو عمال کی طرف نہیں نکالا یہاں تک کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) دار فانی سے کوچ کر گئے۔ پھر اس پر حضرت صدیق اکبر مرتے دم تک عمل پیرا رہے، پھر حضرت عمر اس پہ عمل پیرا رہے، اس میں بکریوں کی زکوۃ سے متعلق تحریر تھا کہ تین سو بکریوں پہ تین بکری زکوۃ ہیں، اور اگر بکریاں اس سے زائد ہوجائیں تو پھر سو بکریوں پہ ایک بکری ادا کرے گا۔ اور اگر بکریاں اس سے زائد ہوجائیں تو پھر سو بکریوں پہ ایک بکری ادا کرے گا۔ اس پر سو سے کم پر کچھ بھی واجب نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Salem apne walid se riwayat farmate hain ke Aanhazarat (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne zakat ke ahkam tahrir farmaye aur un ko apni talwar ke sath rakh diya ya (rawi ko shak hai) wasiyat ke sath, aur aap ne us ko ummal ki taraf nahi nikala yahan tak ke aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) daar-e-fani se کوچ kar gaye. Phir us par Hazrat Siddique Akbar marte dum tak amal pira rahe, phir Hazrat Umar us pe amal pira rahe, us mein bakriyon ki zakat se mutalliq tahrir tha ke teen sau bakriyon pe teen bakri zakat hain, aur agar bakriyan is se zyada hojain to phir sau bakriyon pe ek bakri ada karega. Aur agar bakriyan is se zyada hojain to phir sau bakriyon pe ek bakri ada karega. Is par sau se kam par kuch bhi wajib nahi hai.
Imam Zuhri said that if there are more than two hundred goats, then there are three goats on every three hundred. And if the goats exceed three hundred, then there is one goat of Zakat on every hundred, and there is no Zakat in less than forty goats.
حضرت امام زہری فرماتے ہیں کہ جب دو سو سے ایک بکری بھی زائد ہوجائے تو ان پر تین سو تک تین بکریاں ہں ر اور اگر بکریاں تین سو سے بھی زائد ہوجائیں تو پھر ہر سو پہ زکوۃ ایک بکری ہے، اور چالیس بکریوں سے کم میں زکوۃ نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Imam Zuhri farmate hain ke jab do so se aik bakri bhi ziyad hojai to un par teen so tak teen bakrian hain aur agar bakrian teen so se bhi ziyad hojain to phir har so pe zakat aik bakri hai, aur chalis bakrion se kam mein zakat nahi hai.
Hazrat Hassan (may Allah be pleased with him) said that when the number of goats reaches three hundred or more, then one goat is due as Zakat for every hundred goats.
حضرت حسن فرماتے ہیں کہ جب بکریاں تین سو سے زائد ہوجائیں تو پھر ہر سو پہ ایک بکری زکوۃ ہے۔
