كِتَابُ الزَّكَاةِ
Regarding those whose hearts are to be reconciled, if they exist today or have passed away
فِي الْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ يُوجَدُونَ الْيَوْمَ أَوْ ذَهَبُوا
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 10762
Hazrat Maqal narrates that I inquired from Hazrat Imam Zuhri about the meaning of Mu'allafatu 'l-Qulub (those whose hearts are to be reconciled). He said, 'It refers to those among the Jews and Christians who have accepted Islam.' I asked, 'Even if they are wealthy?' He replied, 'Yes, even if they are wealthy.'
حضرت معقل فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت امام زہری سے مؤلفۃ القلوب کے متعلق دریافت کیا ؟ آپ نے فرمایا یہودیوں و نصاریٰ میں سے جو اسلام لائے وہ مراد ہیں۔ میں نے عرض کیا اگرچہ وہ مال دار ہوں ؟ آپ نے فرمایا ہاں اگرچہ وہ مال دار ہوں۔
Hazrat Maqal farmate hain ke maine Hazrat Imam Zuhri se moalfatul quloob ke mutaliq daryaft kiya? Aap ne farmaya Yahoodio'n o Nasara mein se jo Islam laaye woh murad hain. Maine arz kiya agarche woh maal dar hon? Aap ne farmaya haan agarche woh maal dar hon.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَسَدِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلٌ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ عَنِ الْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ ، قَالَ : « هُوَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ مِنْ يَهُودِيٍّ أَوْ نَصْرَانِيٍّ » قُلْتُ : وَإِنْ كَانَ غَنِيًّا ؟، قَالَ : « وَإِنْ كَانَ غَنِيًّا »
