Book of Oaths, Vows, and Expiations
١١-
كِتَابُ الْأَيْمَانِ وَالنُّذُورِ وَالْكَفَّارَاتِ
Regarding a woman fasting in expiation for accidental killing, then menstruating before completing her fast, should she continue or start over
فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَصُومُ فِي كَفَّارَةِ قَتْلٍ خَطَأٍ، ثُمَّ تَحِيضُ، قَبْلَ أَنْ تُتِمَّ صَوْمَهَا تُتِمُّ أَوْ تَسْتَقْبِلُ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 12226
Hazrat Hassan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "If a woman vows to observe I'tikaf (spiritual retreat in the mosque) and then she experiences menstruation during those days, she should make up for the days she missed due to menstruation after the completion of her menstrual period."
حضرت حسن فرماتے ہیں کہ کوئی عورت اعتکاف کی نذر مانے پھر اس کو ان دنوں میں حیض آجائے تو جن دنوں میں اس کو حیض آیا ہے ان دنوں کی بعد میں قضاء کرلے۔
Hazrat Hassan farmate hain ke koi aurat aitekaf ki nazar mane phir us ko in dinon mein haiz aajae to jin dinon mein us ko haiz aaya hai un dinon ki baad mein qaza karle
عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، فِي امْرَأَةٍ جَعَلَتْ عَلَيْهَا أَنْ تَعْتَكِفَ ، فَأَدْرَكَهَا الْحَيْضُ « تَقْضِي مَا حَاضَتْ مِنْ عِدَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ، تَصُومُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ فِي كَفَّارَةِ يَمِينٍ ، ثُمَّ تَحِيضُ »
