كِتَابُ الْحَجِّ
Concerning the person in Ihram who does not find his waistcloth
فِي الْمُحْرِمِ إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارَهُ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 15776
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar that a person asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) what clothes a Muhrim can wear or what clothes he will not wear? You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: He will not wear socks nor trousers, yes if he does not wear shoes, then whoever does not wear shoes should wear socks and cut them below the ankles.
حضرت ابن عمر سے مروی ہے کہ ایک شخص نے حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے دریافت کیا کہ محرم کون سے کپڑے پہن سکتا ہے ؟ یا کون سے کپڑے نہیں پہنے گا ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : موزے نہیں پہنے گا اور نہ ہی شلوار، ہاں اگر جوتے نہ پائے، پس جو جوتے نہ پائے وہ موزے پہن لے اور ان کو ٹخنوں سے نیچے کاٹ لے۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar se marvi hai keh ek shakhs ne Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se daryaft kiya keh muharram kon se kapre pehan sakta hai? Ya kon se kapre nahi pehne ga? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: mozey nahi pehne ga aur na hi shalwar, haan agar joote na paaye, pas jo joote na paaye woh mozey pehan le aur in ko takhno se neeche kaat le.
أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : نا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَا يَلْبَسُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ ، أَوْ مَا يَتْرُكُ الْمُحْرِمُ ؟ فَقَالَ : « لَا يَلْبَسُ الْخُفَّيْنِ ، وَلَا السَّرَاوِيلَ ، إِلَّا أَنْ لَا يَجِدَ نَعْلَيْنِ ، فَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسِ الْخُفَّيْنِ ، وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ »
