Regarding touching the Prophet's (ﷺ) pulpit.

Hazrat Yazid bin Abdullah bin Qusayt narrates that I saw some of the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that when the mosque would become empty, they would go near the pulpit of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and touch it and pray. The narrator says that Hazrat Yazid used to do the same.
حضرت یزید بن عبداللہ بن قسیط فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے بعض حضرات صحابہ کرام کو دیکھا کہ جب مسجد خالی ہوجاتی تو وہ منبر رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے قریب جاتے اور اس کو چھو کر دعا فرماتے، راوی فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت یزید بھی اسی طرح کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Yazid bin Abdullah bin Qasit farmate hain keh maine baaz hazrat sahaba kiram ko dekha keh jab masjid khali hojati to woh mimbar Rasul (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke qareeb jate aur is ko chhu kar dua farmate, ravi farmate hain keh Hazrat Yazid bhi isi tarah karte thay.
أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : نا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مَوْدُودَةَ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ قُسَيْطٍ قَالَ : « رَأَيْتُ نَفَرًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِذَا خَلَا لَهُمُ الْمَسْجِدُ قَامُوا إِلَى رُمَّانَةِ الْمِنْبَرِ الْقَرْعَاءَ فَمَسَحُوهَا وَدَعَوْا »، قَالَ : « وَرَأَيْتُ يَزِيدَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ »
