كِتَابُ النِّكَاحِ Who said: There is no marriage except with a guardian or a ruler?
مَنْ قَالَ: لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيٍّ أَوْ سُلْطَانٍ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 15939
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Burdah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no marriage without the permission of the guardian."
حضرت ابو بردہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ ولی کی اجازت کے بغیر نکاح نہیں ہوتا۔
Hazrat Abu Burda (RA) se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya keh wali ki ijazat ke baghair nikah nahi hota.
أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : « لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيٍّ »
