كِتَابُ الطَّلَاقِ

Who said: The waiting period of the mother of the child is one menstrual period.

‌مَنْ قَالَ: عِدَّةُ أُمِّ الْوَلَدِ حَيْضَةٌ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 18754

Hazrat Ibn Umar (R.A) said that the waiting period ('iddah) of a slave woman who has borne a child (umm walad) to her master is one menstrual cycle.

حضرت ابن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ام ولد باندی کی عدت ایک حیض ہے۔

Hazrat Ibn Umar (RA) farmate hain keh umme walad bandi ki iddat ek haiz hai.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : نا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، وَابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : « عِدَّتُهَا حَيْضَةٌ »
