Hazrat Rafay bin Amr Ghaffari says that when I was a child, I used to throw stones at the trees of the Ansar to get the fruits. It was mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that a boy throws stones at our trees. Then I was brought to you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and you said to me, 'O boy! Why do you throw stones at the trees?' I said, 'I want to eat dates.' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Do not throw stones at the trees. Eat those which have fallen down.' Then you placed your hand on my head and prayed, 'O Allah, fill his stomach.'
حضرت رافع بن عمرو غفاری کہتے ہیں کہ میں چھوٹا لڑکا تھا اور انصار کے درختوں پر پھل اتارنے کے لیے پتھر مارتا تھا، حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے ذکر کیا گیا کہ ایک لڑکا ہمارے درختوں پر پتھر مارتا ہے، پھر مجھے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس لایا گیا تو آپ نے مجھ سے فرمایا کہ اے لڑکے ! تم درختوں پر پتھر کیوں مارتے ہو ؟ میں نے کہا کہ میں کھجوریں کھانا چاہتا ہوں، حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ درختوں پر پتھر نہ مارو، جو نیچے گریں وہ کھالو، پھر آپ نے میرے سر پر ہاتھ پھیرا اور فرمایا کہ اے اللہ اس کا پیٹ بھر دے۔
Hazrat Rafi bin Amr Gifari kehte hain ke mein chhota ladka tha aur Ansar ke darakhton par phal utarne ke liye pathar marta tha, Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se zikar kiya gaya ke ek ladka humare darakhton par pathar marta hai, phir mujhe aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke paas laya gaya to aap ne mujh se farmaya ke aye ladke! tum darakhton par pathar kyun marte ho? mein ne kaha ke mein khajuren khana chahta hun, Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya ke darakhton par pathar na maro, jo neeche girin wo khao, phir aap ne mere sar par hath phehra aur farmaya ke aye Allah iska pet bhar de.
نَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي الْحَكَمِ ، يَقُولُ : حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي ، عَنْ عَمِّي أَبِي رَافِعِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالَ : كُنْتُ وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ أَرْمِي نَخْلَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقِيلَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﵇ : إِنَّ هَهُنَا غُلَامًا يَرْمِي نَخْلَنَا ، فَأُتِيَ بِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ : « يَا غُلَامُ ، لِمَ تَرْمِي النَّخْلَ ؟»: قُلْتُ : آكُلُ قَالَ : « فَلَا تَرْمِ النَّخْلَ ، وَكُلْ مِمَّا سَقَطَ فِي أَسْفَلِهَا » ثُمَّ مَسَحَ رَأْسِي وَقَالَ : « اللَّهُمَّ أَشْبِعْ بَطْنَهُ »
