كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ وَالْأَقْضِيَةِ
Who permitted the gifts of princes and officials
مَنْ رَخَّصَ فِي جَوَائِزِ الْأُمَرَاءِ وَالْعُمَالَةِ

Khalid bin Sayyaf sent thirty thousand dirhams to the thief, they returned them. Someone said to them, "Accept this and give it in charity." But still, they refused to take the dirhams.
خالد بن سیف نے مسروق کی طرف تیس ہزار درہم بھیجے، انھوں نے وہ واپس کر دئیے ان سے کسی نے کہا کہ آپ یہ قبول کر کے انھیں صدقہ کردیں، لیکن پھر بھی انھوں نے وہ درہم لینے سے انکار کردیا۔
Khalid bin Saif ne Masrooq ki taraf tees hazaar dirham bheje, unhon ne woh wapas kar diye un se kisi ne kaha ke aap ye qubool kar ke unhen sadqa kar den, lekin phir bhi unhon ne woh dirham lene se inkaar kar diya.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ أَسَدٍ ، بَعَثَ إِلَى مَسْرُوقٍ بِثَلَاثِينَ أَلْفًا فَرَدَّهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ : « لَوْ أَخَذْتَهَا فَتَصَدَّقْتَ بِهَا وَوَصَلْتَ بِهَا »، فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْخُذَهَا
