Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 211
Hazrat Rabia narrates that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to our house and you performed ablution. In ablution, you did not take fresh water for wiping the head, but wiped the head with the water present on the hands.
حضرت ربیع فرماتی ہیں کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہمارے ہاں تشریف لائے اور آپ نے وضو فرمایا، وضو میں آپ نے سر کے مسح کے لیے نیا پانی نہیں لیا بلکہ ہاتھوں پر موجود پانی سے سر کا مسح فرمایا۔
Hazrat Rabie farmati hain keh Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) humare han tashreef laye aur aap ne wuzu farmaya, wuzu mein aap ne sar ke masah ke liye naya pani nahi liya balkeh hathon per mojood pani se sar ka masah farmaya.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي الرُّبَيِّعُ بِنْتُ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ ، قَالَتْ : « أَتَانَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ بِمَا بَقِيَ مِنْ وُضُوئِهِ »
