كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ وَالْأَقْضِيَةِ
What has been mentioned regarding false testimony.
مَا ذُكِرَ فِي شَهَادَةِ الزُّورِ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 23042
Hazrat Wa'il ibn Hujr reported that bearing false witness is equivalent to associating partners with Allah. Then one of them recited this verse: { وَالَّذِینَ لاَ یَشْہَدُونَ الزُّورَ } (And those who do not bear witness to falsehood) and the other recited this verse: { وَاجْتَنِبُوا قَوْلَ الزُّورِ } (And avoid false statement).
حضرت وائل بن ربیعہ فرماتے ہیں کہ جھوٹی گواہی اللہ تعالیٰ کے ساتھ شرک کے برابر ہے، پھر ان میں سے ایک نے یہ والی آیت تلاوت فرمائی : { وَالَّذِینَ لاَ یَشْہَدُونَ الزُّورَ } اور دوسرے نے یہ والی آیت تلاوت فرمائی : { وَاجْتَنِبُوا قَوْلَ الزُّورِ }۔
Hazrat Wail bin Rabi'ah farmate hain ke jhooti gawahi Allah Ta'ala ke sath shirk ke barabar hai, phir un mein se aik ne ye wali ayat tilawat farma'i: { Wa allatheena laa yash'hadoona alzzoor } aur doosre ne ye wali ayat tilawat farma'i: { Wajtaniboo qawla alzzoor } .
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : وَشَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ، قَالَ : « عُدِلَتْ شَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ بِالشِّرْكِ بِاللَّهِ »، وَتَلَا أَحَدُهُمَا : ﴿ وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ الزُّورَ ﴾ [ الفرقان : ٧٢ ]، وَتَلَا الْآخَرَ ﴿ وَاجْتَنِبُوا قَوْلَ الزُّورِ ﴾ [ الحج : ٣٠ ]
