١٧-
كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ وَالْأَقْضِيَةِ Regarding a man who permits his slave to trade, and then sells him.
فِي الرَّجُلِ يَأْذَنُ لِعَبْدِهِ فِي التِّجَارَةِ، ثُمَّ يَبِيعُهُ

Hazrat Shabi (R.A) said that if a person allows his slave to trade and then sells him, then he (the owner) will be responsible (for any liabilities incurred by the slave during trading).
حضرت شعبی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر کوئی شخص غلام کو تجارت کی اجازت دے کر پھر فروخت کردے ، تو وہ ضامن ہوگا۔
Hazrat Shabi (RA) farmate hain keh agar koi shakhs ghulam ko tijarat ki ijazat de kar phir farokht kar de, to woh zaman hoga.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُفَضَّلُ بْنُ مُهَلْهِلٍ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَأْذَنُ لِعَبْدِهِ فِي التِّجَارَةِ ثُمَّ يَبِيعُهُ : قَالَ : « يَضْمَنُ »
