Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 23191
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade withholding excess water, lest it prevent the growth of extra grass.
حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) سے مروی ہے کہ آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے زائد پانی کے روکنے سے منع فرمایا تاکہ اس سے زائد گھاس نہ روک سکے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) se marvi hai keh Aap (SAW) ne zaid pani ke rokne se mana farmaya taake us se zaid ghaas na rok sake.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : « نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ فَضْلِ الْمَاءِ لِيَمْنَعَ بِهِ فَضْلَ الْكَلَأِ »
