كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ وَالْأَقْضِيَةِ
Regarding a man who says: 'The day I buy so-and-so, he is free.'
فِي الرَّجُلِ يَقُولُ: يَوْمَ أَشْتَرِي فُلَانًا فَهُوَ حُرٌّ

Hazrat Hassan (may Allah be pleased with him) said regarding a person who says that if I buy such and such a slave-girl, then she will be free, or says that every slave-girl whom you buy will be free, then if he buys any slave-girl from him, she will become free.
حضرت حسن اس شخص کے متعلق فرماتے ہیں کہ جو یوں کہے کہ اگر میں نے فلاں باندی کو خریدا تو وہ آزاد، یا یوں کہے کہ ہر وہ باندی جو تجھ سے خریدوں وہ آزاد، تو اگر وہ اس سے کچھ خریدے تو وہ آزاد ہوجائے گا۔
Hazrat Hassan is shakhs ke mutalliq farmate hain keh jo yun kahe keh agar maine falan bandi ko khareeda to woh azad, ya yun kahe keh har woh bandi jo tujh se khareedon woh azad, to agar woh us se kuchh khareeday to woh azad hojae ga.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، فِي الرَّجُلِ يَقُولُ : « إِنِ اشْتَرَيْتُ فُلَانَةَ فَهِيَ حُرَّةٌ ، أَوْ كُلُّ جَارِيَةٍ اشْتَرَيْتُهَا عَلَيْكِ فَهِيَ حُرَّةٌ ، أَنَّهُ إِنِ اشْتَرَى شَيْئًا مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَدْ عَتَقَ »
