١٧-
كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ وَالْأَقْضِيَةِ A man says to his servant: 'You are nothing but free.'
الرَّجُلُ يَقُولُ لِغُلَامِهِ: مَا أَنْتَ إِلَّا حُرٌّ

It is narrated from Hazrat Hassan that if a person says to his slave, "You are not a slave but you are free" then the intention of the person will be considered.
حضرت حسن سے مروی ہے کہ اگر کوئی شخص اپنے غلام سے یوں کہے کہ : نہیں ہے تو مگر آزاد تو اس کی نیت کا اعتبار ہے۔
Hazrat Hassan se marvi hai keh agar koi shakhs apne ghulam se yun kahe keh: nahin hai tu magar azad, to uski neeyat ka aitbaar hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، فِي الرَّجُلِ يَقُولُ لِمَمْلُوكِهِ : مَا أَنْتَ إِلَّا حُرٌّ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ : « نِيَّتُهُ ».
