Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 23599
It is narrated from Hazrat Yahya bin Ja'dah that Khalid bin Walid used to get scared at night, even though he had a sword with him, and he would go outside in this state. Then, he felt this fear that he might hurt someone, so he complained about it to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Gabriel told me that a great jinn intends to harm you, so you should recite: 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah, from which neither the good nor the bad can escape, from the evil of everything that descends from the sky and that ascends therein, and from the evil of everything that enters the earth and that emerges therefrom, and from the trials of the night and the day, and from the evil of everything that comes with the night, except for that which comes with good, O Most Merciful.' So when Hazrat Khalid recited these words, his condition ceased."
حضرت یحییٰ بن جعدہ سے روایت ہے، کہتے ہیں کہ خالد بن ولید رات کے وقت ڈر جاتے تھے اور ان کے پاس تلوار بھی ہوتی تھی اور وہ اس حال میں باہر نکل جاتے تھے، پھر انھوں نے یہ خوف محسوس کیا کہ یہ کسی کو زخمی نہ کردیں تو انھوں نے نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے اس بات کی شکایت کی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا :” مجھے جبرائیل نے کہا تھا کہ ایک بڑا جن آپ کے لیئے برائی کا ارادہ رکھتا ہے پس آپ (یہ) پڑھیں :” میں اللہ تعالیٰ کے ان کلمات تامہ کے ذریعے سے پناہ پکڑتا ہوں جن سے کوئی نیک اور بد تجاوز نہیں کرسکتا، ہر اس چیز کے شر سے جو آسمان سے اترے اور جو آسمان میں چڑھے اور ہر اس چیز سے جو زمین میں داخل ہو اور جو زمین سے خارج ہو اور رات، دن کے فتنوں سے اور ہر رات کو آنے والی ہر چیز کے شر سے مگر وہ رات کو آنے والی چیز جو خیر کے ساتھ آئے، اے رحمن “ چنانچہ حضرت خالد نے یہ جملے کہے تو ان کی یہ حالت ختم ہوگئی۔
Hazrat Yahya bin Jaadah se riwayat hai, kehte hain ki Khalid bin Waleed raat ke waqt dar jate thay aur unke pass talwar bhi hoti thi aur woh is haal mein bahar nikal jate thay, phir unhon ne yeh khauf mehsoos kiya ki yeh kisi ko zakhmi na kar den to unhon ne Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se is baat ki shikayat ki to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: “Mujhe Jibraeel ne kaha tha ki ek bada jinn aap ke liye burai ka irada rakhta hai, pas aap (yeh) parhein:” Main Allah Ta’ala ke in kalmaat taammah ke zariye se panah pakadta hun jin se koi nek aur bad tajaawuz nahin kar sakta, har is cheez ke shar se jo aasman se utre aur jo aasman mein chadhe aur har is cheez se jo zameen mein dakhil ho aur jo zameen se kharej ho aur raat, din ke fitnon se aur har raat ko aane wali har cheez ke shar se magar woh raat ko aane wali cheez jo khair ke sath aaye, Aye Rahman. Chunancha Hazrat Khalid ne yeh jumle kahe to unki yeh haalat khatam hogayi.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ يُفَزَّعُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ وَمَعَهُ سَيْفُهُ ، فَخُشِيَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يُصِيبَ أَحَدًا ، فَشَكَا ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ قَالَ لِي : إِنَّ عِفْرِيتًا مِنَ الْجِنِّ يَكِيدُكَ ، فَقُلْ : أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ ، الَّتِي لَا يُجَاوِزُهَا بَرٌّ وَلَا فَاجِرٌ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ ، وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا بُثَّ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتَنِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ طَارِقٍ إِلَّا طَارِقًا يَطْرُقُ بِخَيْرٍ يَا رَحْمَنُ "
