Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 25464
Imam Zuhri said a man greeted the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) thrice but you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not respond to him. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were asked about it, so you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Indeed, he is a two-faced person.
امام زہری فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نے نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو تین مرتبہ سلام کیا لیکن آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کو جواب نہیں دیا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے اس بارے میں پوچھا گیا ! تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : بیشک وہ دو رخا شخص ہے۔
Imam Zuhri farmate hain ke ek aadmi ne Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko teen martaba salaam kiya lekin aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne usko jawab nahi diya. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se is bare mein poocha gaya! To aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Beshak woh do rukha shakhs hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ، فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : لِمَ ؟ فَقَالَ : « إِنَّهُ ذُو وَجْهَيْنِ »
