What they said about trimming the beard

‌مَا قَالُوا فِي الْأَخْذِ مِنَ اللِّحْيَةِ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 25490

Hazrat Mansoor narrates that Hazrat Ibrahim said: The companions used to trim the hair below the chin and also the hair on the sides of the beard.

حضرت منصور فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابراہیم نے ارشاد فرمایا : صحابہ ٹھوڑی کے نیچے کے بال چھانٹ لیتے تھے اور داڑھی کے کناروں کے بال بھی چھانٹتے تھے۔

Hazrat Mansoor farmate hain keh Hazrat Ibrahim ne irshad farmaya : Sahaba thuddi ke neeche ke baal chhant lete thay aur darhi ke kinaron ke baal bhi chhantte thay.

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : « كَانُوا يُطَيِّبُونَ لِحَاهُمْ ، وَيَأْخُذُونَ مِنْ عَوَارِضِهَا »
