On the imam when he raises his head from bowing, what those behind him say

‌فِي الْإِمَامِ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ ، مَاذَا يَقُولُ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 2597

Hazrat Abdullah narrated that when the Imam says "Sami Allahu Liman Hamidah", then the one praying behind should say "Allahumma Rabbana Lakal Hamd".

حضرت عبداللہ نے فرمایا کہ جب امام سَمِعَ اللَّہُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَہُ کہے تو مقتدی اللَّہُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَکَ الْحَمْدُکہیں۔

Hazrat Abdullah ne farmaya keh jab Imam Sami Allahu Liman Hamidah kahe to muqtadi Allahumma Rabbana Lakal Hamd kahen.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : نا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ : سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ ، قَالَ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ : اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ "
