Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz said that half of the charity is for the eye (i.e., seeing the needy and feeling their pain).

حضرت عمر بن عبدالعزیز کا ارشاد ہے کہ آنکھ میں آدھی دیت ہے۔

Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz ka irshad hai keh aankh mein aadhi dait hai.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، قَالَ : « فِي الْعَيْنِ نِصْفُ الدِّيَةِ »
