‌الرَّجُلُ تَجِبُ عَلَيْهِ الدِّيَةُ وَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَقَرِ أَوِ الْغَنَمِ

How much is the blood money for accidental killing

‌دِيَةُ الْخَطَأِ كَمْ هِيَ

How much is the blood money for intentional killing

‌دِيَةُ الْعَمْدِ كَمْ هِيَ

What is considered semi-intentional killing

‌شِبْهُ الْعَمْدِ مَا هُوَ

What is considered accidental killing

‌فِي الْخَطَأِ مَا هُوَ

How much is the compensation for a wound exposing the bone

‌فِي الْمُوضِحَةِ كَمْ فِيهَا

‌الْيَدُ كَمْ فِيهَا

‌التَّرْقُوَةُ مَا فِيهَا

‌كَمْ فِي كُلِّ سِنٍّ

‌مَنْ قَالَ: تُفَضَّلُ بَعْضُ الْأَسْنَانِ عَلَى بَعْضٍ

‌الْأَصَابِعُ مَنْ سَوَّى بَيْنَهَا

‌كَمْ فِي كُلِّ أُصْبُعٍ

Who said: The fingers of the hands and feet are equal?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: أَصَابِعُ الْيَدَيْنِ وَالرِّجْلَيْنِ سَوَاءٌ

‌الْأَعْوَرُ تُفْقَأُ عَيْنُهُ

Who said: It is half the blood money.

‌مَنْ قَالَ: فِيهَا نِصْفُ الدِّيَةِ

The one-eyed person gouges out a person's eye.

‌الْأَعْوَرُ يَفْقَأُ عَيْنَ إِنْسَانٍ

If a tooth is injured and turns black.

‌السِّنُّ إِذَا أُصِيبَتْ فَاسْوَدَّتْ

If a tooth is injured, how long should it be waited on?

‌السِّنُّ إِذَا أُصِيبَتْ كَمْ يُتَرَبَّصُ بِهَا

A part of the tooth is broken.

‌السِّنُّ يُكْسَرُ مِنْهَا الشَّيْءُ

‌السِّنُّ السَّوْدَاءُ تُصَابُ

‌بَابُ الرِّجْلِ ، كَمْ فِيهَا

‌الْجَائِفَةُ كَمْ فِيهَا

The penetrating wound in the limbs.

‌الْجَائِفَةُ فِي الْأَعْضَاءِ

The male organ, what is for it?

‌الذَّكَرُ ، مَا فِيهِ

The head of the male organ is injured, how much is it?

‌الْحَشَفَةُ تُصَابُ كَمْ فِيهَا

The paralyzed hand is injured.

‌الْيَدُ الشَّلَّاءُ تُصَابُ

The hand or the leg is broken, then heals.

‌الْيَدُ أَوِ الرِّجْلُ تُكْسَرُ، ثُمَّ تَبْرَأُ

The nail turns black and decays.

‌الظُّفُرُ يَسْوَدُّ وَيَفْسُدُ

A man injures another man.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُصِيبُ مِنَ الرَّجُلِ

When a rib is broken.

‌الضِّلَعُ إِذَا كُسِرَ

What is there for the testicles?

‌فِي الْبَيْضَتَيْنِ مَا فِيهِمَا

For the tongue of the mute and the genitals of the impotent man.

‌فِي لِسَانِ الْأَخْرَسِ وَذَكَرِ الْعِنِّينِ

The shoulder is broken, then it is healed.

‌الْمَنْكِبُ يُكْسَرُ، ثُمَّ يُجْبَرُ

Whoever ruptures the bladder.

‌مَنْ فَتَقَ الْمَثَانَةَ

In the spine, how much is it?

‌فِي الصُّلْبِ كَمْ فِيهِ

What is for the two breasts?

‌الثَّدْيَانِ مَا فِيهِمَا

The slave commits an offense.

‌الْعَبْدُ يَجْنِي الْجِنَايَةَ

The slave kills a free man, so he is handed over to his family.

‌الْعَبْدُ يَقْتُلُ الْحُرَّ، فَيُدْفَعُ إِلَى أَوْلِيَائِهِ

If the slave is pardoned, what is his condition?

‌إِذَا عُفِيَ عَنِ الْمَمْلُوكِ مَا يَكُونُ حَالُهُ

The free man accidentally kills the slave.

‌الْحُرُّ يَقْتُلُ الْعَبْدَ خَطَأً

Who said: He does not reach the blood money of a free man?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: لَا يَبْلُغُ بِهِ دِيَةَ الْحُرِّ

The slave has both his eyes gouged out.

‌الْعَبْدُ تُفْقَأُ عَيْنَاهُ جَمِيعًا

For the tooth and wounds of the slave.

‌فِي سِنِّ الْعَبْدِ وَجِرَاحِهِ

The free man cuts or injures the slave.

‌الْحُرُّ يَشُجُّ الْعَبْدَ أَوْ يَجْرَحُهُ

The slave injures the slave.

‌الْعَبْدُ يَجْرَحُ الْعَبْدَ

A group kills a man, so they are handed over to his family.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَقْتُلُونَهُ النَّفَرُ فَيُدْفَعُونَ إِلَى أَوْلِيَائِهِ

For the fetus of the female slave.

‌فِي جَنِينِ الْأَمَةِ

What is there for the fetus of the animal?

‌جَنِينُ الْبَهِيمَةِ مَا فِيهِ

For the fetus of the free woman.

‌فِي جَنِينِ الْحُرَّةِ

The one who injures the fetus, is there anything upon him?

‌الَّذِي يُصِيبُ الْجَنِينَ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ

What is the value of the compensation?

‌فِي قِيمَةِ الْغُرَّةِ مَا هِيَ

Upon whom is the compensation?

‌الْغُرَّةُ عَلَى مَنْ هِيَ

Who said: There is no retribution for a penetrating, brain, or bone-moving wound?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: لَا يُقَادُ مِنْ جَائِفَةٍ، وَلَا مَأْمُومَةٍ، وَلَا مُنَقِّلَةٍ

The bones: Who said: There is no retribution for them?

‌الْعِظَامُ مَنْ قَالَ: لَيْسَ فِيهَا قِصَاصٌ

The driver and the guide, what is upon them?

‌السَّائِقُ وَالْقَائِدُ مَا عَلَيْهِ

‌الرِّدْفُ هَلْ يَضْمَنُ

Upon whom is the payment of blood money?

‌الْعَقْلُ عَلَى مَنْ هُوَ

The offense of the slave bound to service, upon whom is it?

‌جِنَايَةُ الْمُدَبَّرِ عَلَى مَنْ تَكُونُ

What is for the offense of the contracted slave?

‌جِنَايَةُ الْمُكَاتَبِ مَا فِيهَا

The contracted slave is injured.

‌الْمُكَاتَبُ يُجْنَى عَلَيْهِ

In the case of the mother of the child committing an offense.

‌فِي أُمِّ الْوَلَدِ تَجْنِي

Regarding blood money.

‌فِي الْعَقْلِ

A man discharges something from his boundary and it hits a person.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُخْرِجُ مِنْ حَدِّهِ شَيْئًا فَيُصِيبُ إِنْسَانًا

The animal kicks with its leg.

‌الدَّابَّةُ تَنْفَحُ بِرِجْلِهَا

The animal strikes with its leg.

‌الدَّابَّةُ تَضْرِبُ بِرِجْلِهَا

The stallion, the animal, the mine, and the well.

‌الْفَحْلُ وَالدَّابَّةُ وَالْمَعْدِنُ وَالْبِئْرُ

The colt follows its mother and hits.

‌الْمُهْرُ يَتْبَعُ أُمَّهُ فَيُصِيبُ

The loose or runaway animal hits a person.

‌الدَّابَّةُ الْمُرْسَلَةُ أَوِ الْمُنْفَلِتَةُ تُصِيبُ إِنْسَانًا

In the eye of the animal.

‌فِي عَيْنِ الدَّابَّةِ

In the case of the animal's tail being cut.

‌فِي الدَّابَّةِ يُقْطَعُ ذَنَبُهَا

A man uses a slave without the permission of his master.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَسْتَعِينُ الْعَبْدَ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ مَوْلَاهُ

A woman commits an offense.

‌الْمَرْأَةُ تَجْنِي الْجِنَايَةَ

Intentional harm where retribution is not possible.

‌الْعَمْدُ الَّذِي لَا يُسْتَطَاعُ فِيهِ الْقِصَاصُ

Who is responsible for quasi-intentional harm?

‌شِبْهُ الْعَمْدِ عَلَى مَنْ يَكُونُ

A man accidentally kills a slave.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَقْتُلُ الْعَبْدَ خَطَأً

Intentional harm, reconciliation, and confession.

‌الْعَمْدُ وَالصُّلْحُ وَالِاعْتِرَافُ

The intentional and accidental offenses of a child.

‌جِنَايَةُ الصَّبِيِّ الْعَمْدِ وَالْخَطَأِ

How long does it take to pay the blood money?

‌الدِّيَةُ فِي كَمْ تُؤَدَّى

Regarding the confession of a child.

‌فِي اعْتِرَافِ الصَّبِيِّ

Who said: The blood money of a Jew or Christian is equal to that of a Muslim?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: دِيَةُ الْيَهُودِيِّ وَالنَّصْرَانِيِّ مِثْلُ دِيَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ

In the case of a man intentionally killing a woman.

‌فِي الرَّجُلِ يَقْتُلُ الْمَرْأَةَ عَمْدًا

Who said: He is not killed until they pay half the blood money?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: لَا يُقْتَلُ حَتَّى يُؤَدُّوا نِصْفَ الدِّيَةِ

Retribution between men and women.

‌الْقِصَاصُ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ

Regarding the wounds of men and women.

‌فِي جِرَاحَاتِ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ

A man kills his own slave.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَقْتُلُ عَبْدَهُ

A man kills his slave. Who said: He is not killed for it?

‌الرَّجُلُ يَقْتُلُ عَبْدَهُ مَنْ قَالَ: «لَا يُقْتَلُ بِهِ»

A free man kills someone else's slave.

‌الْحُرُّ يَقْتُلُ عَبْدَ غَيْرِهِ

If a fetus is born alive and then dies or moves or flinches.

‌الْجَنِينُ إِذَا سَقَطَ حَيًّا، ثُمَّ مَاتَ أَوْ تَحَرَّكَ أَوِ اخْتَلَجَ

A small child’s tooth is injured.

‌الصَّبِيُّ الصَّغِيرُ تُصَابُ سِنُّهُ

A mad person commits an offense.

‌الْمَجْنُونُ يَجْنِي الْجِنَايَةَ

A Muslim accidentally kills a non-Muslim under protection

‌الْمُسْلِمُ يَقْتُلُ الذِّمِّيَّ خَطَأً

A man kills, and his wife pardons him.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَقْتُلُ، فَتَعْفُو امْرَأَتُهُ

Who said: She has no right to pardon?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: لَا عَفْوَ لَهَا

A woman inherits from her husband's blood.

‌الْمَرْأَةُ تَرِثُ مِنْ دَمِ زَوْجِهَا

Who said: The blood money is divided by those who divide the inheritance?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: تُقْسَمُ الدِّيَةُ عَلَى مَنْ يَقْسِمُ الْمِيرَاثَ

Who used to inherit brothers from the mother from the blood money?

‌مَنْ كَانَ يُوَرِّثُ الْإِخْوَةَ مِنَ الْأُمِّ مِنَ الدِّيَةِ

A man is killed, and some of the heirs pardon.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُقْتَلُ فَيَعْفُو بَعْضُ الْأَوْلِيَاءِ

Who is responsible for paying blood money?

‌الْعَقْلُ عَلَى مَنْ يَكُونُ

‌الطَّبِيبُ وَالْمُدَاوِي وَالْخَاتِنُ

A man is killed, and his blood is pardoned.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَنْقَتِلُ، فَيَعْفُو عَنْ دَمِهِ

A man is killed in the sacred places.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُقْتَلُ فِي الْحُرُمِ

Who said: No more than the blood money is paid for someone killed in a sacred place?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: لَا يُزَادُ عَلَى دِيَةِ الَّذِي يُقْتَلُ فِي الْحَرَمِ

A man strangles another man.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَخْنُقُ الرَّجُلَ

A man strikes another man, and he remains sick until he dies.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَضْرِبُ الرَّجُلَ، فَلَا يَزَالُ مَرِيضًا حَتَّى يَمُوتَ

A man collides with another man.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَصْدِمُ الرَّجُلَ

The leaning wall testifies against its owner.

‌الْحَائِطُ الْمَائِلُ يَشْهَدُ عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ

A man falls on another man or jumps on him.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَقَعُ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ، أَوْ يَثِبُ عَلَيْهِ

A man strikes another man and dislocates his hand.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَضْرِبُ الرَّجُلَ فَيَنْتَزِعُ يَدَهُ

A man strikes another man until he defecates.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَضْرِبُ الرَّجُلَ حَتَّى يُحْدِثَ

A man strikes another man, and retribution is exacted for him, and then he dies.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَشُجُّ الرَّجُلَ فَيُقْتَصُّ لَهُ فَيَمُوتُ

Who said: There is no blood money if he dies during retribution?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ دِيَةٌ إِذَا مَاتَ فِي قِصَاصٍ

Who said: Intentional harm is with a weapon?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: الْعَمْدُ بِالْحَدِيدِ

If he strikes him with a rock and strikes him again.

‌إِذَا ضَرَبَهُ بِصَخْرَةٍ، فَأَعَادَ عَلَيْهِ

A group of men kill a man.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَقْتُلُهُ النَّفَرُ

Who would only kill one among them?

‌مَنْ كَانَ لَا يَقْتُلُ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا وَاحِدًا

A man injures himself.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُصِيبُ نَفْسَهُ بِالْجُرْحِ

The Imam makes an error in administering the legal punishment.

‌الْإِمَامُ يُخْطِئُ فِي الْحَدِّ

A man accidentally kills his son.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَقْتُلُ ابْنَهُ خَطَأً

A group of people injure each other.

‌الْقَوْمُ يَشُجُّ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا

A dog bites a man.

‌الْكَلْبُ يَعْقِرُ الرَّجُلَ

Who said: There is no retribution except by the sword?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: لَا قَوَدَ إِلَّا بِالسَّيْفِ

A slave commits offenses.

‌الْعَبْدُ يَجْنِي الْجِنَايَاتِ

Who said: There is no repentance for the killer of a believer?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: لَيْسَ لِقَاتِلِ الْمُؤْمِنِ تَوْبَةٌ

Who said: The killer can repent?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: لِلْقَاتِلِ تَوْبَةٌ

On the sanctity of a believer's blood.

‌فِي تَعْظِيمِ دَمِ الْمُؤْمِنِ

Who said: Intentional harm requires retribution?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: الْعَمْدُ قَوَدٌ

A child and a man jointly commit a murder.

‌الصَّبِيُّ وَالرَّجُلُ يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي قَتْلٍ

A man kills another man intentionally and sits to be punished.

‌رَجُلٌ قَتَلَ رَجُلًا عَمْدًا فَجَلَسَ لِيُقَادَ مِنْهُ

A man is killed, leaving behind young children.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُقْتَلُ وَلَهُ وَلَدٌ صِغَارٌ

The forearm is broken.

‌الزَّنْدُ يُكْسَرُ

A man is injured, but retribution is not carried out until he recovers.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُجْرَحُ، مَنْ كَانَ لَا يُقْتَصُّ بِهِ حَتَّى يَبْرَأَ

A man orders another man to kill someone else.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَأْمُرُ الرَّجُلَ فَيَقْتُلُ آخَرَ

A man forces a woman to commit adultery.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُرِيدُ الْمَرْأَةَ عَلَى نَفْسِهَا

A man kills another man while another holds him.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَقْتُلُ الرَّجُلَ وَيُمْسِكُهُ آخَرُ

What the group pays for in terms of compensation.

‌فِيمَا تَعْقِلُ الْعَاقِلَةُ

What has been said about the oath of accusation.

‌مَا جَاءَ فِي الْقَسَامَةِ

The oath in the case of accusation.

‌الْيَمِينُ فِي الْقَسَامَةِ

How they swear in the case of accusation.

‌كَيْفَ يَسْتَحْلِفُونَ فِي الْقَسَامَةِ

‌الْقَوَدُ بِالْقَسَامَةِ

‌الدَّمُ كَمْ يَجُوزُ فِيهِ مِنَ الشَّهَادَةِ

If the oath-takers are less than fifty.

‌الْقَسَامَةُ إِذَا كَانُوا أَقَلَّ مِنْ خَمْسِينَ

‌الْقَتِيلُ يُوجَدُ بَيْنَ الْحَيَّيْنِ

‌الْقَسَامَةُ مَنْ لَمْ يَرَهَا

‌الرَّجُلُ يُقْتَلُ فِي الزِّحَامِ

A slave contracted for freedom kills or is killed.

‌الْمُكَاتَبُ يَقْتُلُ أَوْ يُقْتَلُ

A man throws fire and burns down the house of a people.

‌رَجُلٌ رَمَى بِنَارٍ، فَأَحْرَقَ دَارَ قَوْمٍ

Between a Muslim and a non-Muslim, there is retribution.

‌بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِ وَالذِّمِّيِّ قِصَاصٌ

A man strikes another man, and he loses his eye.

‌رَجُلٌ شَجَّ رَجُلًا فَذَهَبَتْ عَيْنُهُ

A group pushes each other into a well or water.

‌الْقَوْمُ يَدْفَعُ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا فِي الْبِئْرِ أَوِ الْمَاءِ

A man finds another man with his wife and kills him.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَجِدُ مَعَ امْرَأَتِهِ رَجُلًا فَيَقْتُلُهُ

A man testifies that his wife or female slave was accused of something.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَشْهَدُ تُرْمَى امْرَأَتُهُ بِالشَّيْءِ أَوْ أَمَتُهُ

Two men testify against a man for a legal punishment.

‌الرَّجُلَانِ يَشْهَدَانِ عَلَى رَجُلٍ بِالْحَدِّ

A man is sentenced to death and handed over to the heirs.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَجِبُ عَلَيْهِ الْقَتْلُ، فَيُدْفَعُ إِلَى الْأَوْلِيَاءِ

A man kills his son.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَقْتُلُ ابْنَهُ

A man's testicles are ruptured.

‌الرَّجُلُ تُخْرَقُ أُنْثَيَاهُ

A man forces a woman and injures her.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَسْتَكْرِهُ الْمَرْأَةَ فَيُفْضِيهَا

A man asks for water but is not given any until he dies.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَسْتَسْقِي فَلَا يُسْقَى حَتَّى يَمُوتَ

What permits the shedding of a Muslim's blood.

‌مَا يَحِلُّ بِهِ دَمُ الْمُسْلِمِ

A slave is found killed.

‌الْعَبْدُ يُوجَدُ قَتِيلًا

Blood cases are judged by the rulers.

‌الدَّمُ يَقْضِي فِيهِ الْأُمَرَاءُ

A treaty-bound person is killed.

‌الْمُعَاهَدُ يُقْتَلُ

Four witnesses testified against a man for adultery, so he was stoned.

‌أَرْبَعَةٌ شَهِدُوا عَلَى رَجُلٍ بِالزِّنَا، فَرُجِمَ

A man grants something to his son when he suffers an injury.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُصِيبُ ابْنَهُ الشَّيْءُ فَيَهَبُهُ

A man cuts off the hand of a thief.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَقْطَعُ يَدَ السَّارِقِ

A man pours water into the road.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَصُبُّ الْمَاءَ فِي الطَّرِيقِ

A man receives retribution; is he imprisoned?

‌الرَّجُلُ يُقْتَصُّ لَهُ أَيُحْبَسُ

Mutilation in killing.

‌الْمُثْلَةُ فِي الْقَتْلِ

A man commits an offense and has no guardian.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَجْنِي الْجِنَايَةَ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ مَوْلًى

Regarding the killing of a treaty-bound person.

‌فِي قَتْلِ الْمُعَاهَدِ

The first matter to be judged between people.

‌أَوَّلُ مَا يُقْضَى بَيْنَ النَّاسِ

A man dies during retribution.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَمُوتُ فِي الْقِصَاصِ

‌السِّنُّ الزَّائِدَةُ تُصَابُ

A man pokes an animal, and it strikes.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَنْخُسُ الدَّابَّةَ فَتَضْرِبُ

A man cuts off a slave's nose.

‌رَجُلٌ جَدَعَ أَنْفَ عَبْدٍ

A man injures another man, then settles, and the injured person later dies.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُصِيبُ الرَّجُلَ، فَيُصَالِحُ عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ يَمُوتُ

Regarding bloodshed in times of civil strife.

‌فِيمَا يُصَابُ فِي الْفِتَنِ مِنَ الدِّمَاءِ

A man and a boy stand in a place, and it is not known who is responsible.

‌الرَّجُلُ وَالْغُلَامُ يَقِفَانِ فِي الْمَوْضِعِ لَا يُدْرَى

Two men struck a man, causing a skull fracture and a bone-deep wound.

‌رَجُلَانِ شَجَّا رَجُلًا آمَّةً وَمُوضِحَةً

The blood of Muslims is equal.

‌إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ تَتَكَافَأُ دِمَاؤُهُمْ

An animal or sheep damages crops.

‌الدَّابَّةُ وَالشَّاةُ تُفْسِدُ الزَّرْعَ

A blind person injures someone.

‌الْمَكْفُوفُ يُصِيبُ إِنْسَانًا

Regarding the offense of the son of the woman accused of adultery.

‌فِي جِنَايَةِ ابْنِ الْمُلَاعَنَةِ

A man killed another man, was imprisoned, and then someone intentionally killed him.

‌رَجُلٌ قَتَلَ رَجُلًا، فَحُبِسَ فَقَتَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَمْدًا

On the verse: 'But whoever gives charity, it is an expiation for him.'

‌فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿فَمَنْ تَصَدَّقَ بِهِ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَهُ﴾ [

A man suffers from madness or bleeding.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُصَابُ بِخَبْلٍ أَوْ دَمٍ

A free man and a slave collided and both died.

‌حُرٌّ وَعَبْدٌ اصْطَدَمَا فَمَاتَا

On the verse: 'And if he was from a people with whom you have a treaty.'

‌قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: ﴿وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيثَاقٌ﴾ [

Retribution for a slap.

‌الْقَوَدُ مِنَ اللَّطْمَةِ

A strike with a whip.

‌الضَّرْبَةُ بِالسَّوْطِ

A man borrows an animal and drives it hard.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَسْتَعِيرُ الدَّابَّةَ فَيُرْكِضُهَا

A man killed another man, and part of his body lost its soul.

‌رَجُلٌ قَتَلَ رَجُلًا، فَذَهَبَتِ الرُّوحُ مِنْ بَعْضِ جَسَدِهِ

A man halts his animal.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُوقِفُ دَابَّتَهُ

The blood-dripping wound, the skin-splitting wound, and the bone-crushing wound.

‌الدَّامِيَةُ وَالْبَاضِعَةُ وَالْهَاشِمَةُ

Two slaves, one of whom is injured.

‌الْعَبْدَانِ يُجْرَحُ أَحَدُهُمَا

A man arrives with a safe-conduct and is killed by a Muslim.

‌الرَّجُلُ يَقْدَمُ بِأَمَانٍ، فَيَقْتُلُهُ الْمُسْلِمُ

‌النِّسْوَةُ يَشْهَدْنَ عَلَى الْقَتْلِ

‌التَّغْلِيظُ فِي الدِّيَةِ

‌امْرَأَةٌ ضُرِبَتْ فَأَسْقَطَتْ

‌الِاسْتِهْلَالُ الَّتِي تَجِبُ بِه ? الدِّيَةُ

‌فِي شَعْرِ اللِّحْيَةِ إِذَا نُتِفَ، فَلَمْ يَنْبُتْ

Regarding a slave who is struck by his master.

‌فِي الْمَمْلُوكِ يَضْرِبُهُ سَيِّدُهُ

Regarding the killing of a thief.

‌فِي قَتْلِ اللِّصِّ

Blood money is paid by the heads of the men.

‌الْعَقْلُ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الرِّجَالِ

Something falls and lands on a person.

‌الشَّيْءُ يَسْقُطُ فَيَقَعُ عَلَى إِنْسَانٍ

A man receives retribution for something less than the soul.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُقْتَصُّ لَهُ فِيمَا دُونَ النَّفْسِ

A woman is struck while pregnant.

‌الْمَرْأَةُ تُضْرَبُ وَهِيَ حَامِلٌ

If a slave intentionally kills another slave.

‌إِذَا قَتَلَ الْعَبْدُ الْعَبْدَ عَمْدًا

A murdered person is found in a marketplace.

‌الْقَتِيلُ يُوجَدُ فِي سُوقٍ

A man rents an animal and rides it.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُكْرِي الدَّابَّةَ، فَيَرْكَبُهَا

The governor commands the people to do something.

‌الْوَالِي يَأْمُرُ الْقَوْمَ بِالشَّيْءِ

A woman vowed to perform Hajj with a nose ring, but her nose was injured.

‌امْرَأَةٌ نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَحُجَّ مَزْمُومَةً، فَانْخَرَمَ أَنْفُهَا

Regarding someone who kills a man accidentally, then another intentionally.

‌فِيمَنْ قَتَلَ رَجُلًا خَطَأً، ثُمَّ آخَرَ عَمْدًا

A man kills intentionally and flees, and they could not catch him.

‌رَجُلٌ قَتَلَ عَمْدًا فَفَرَّ، فَلَمْ يُقْدَرْ عَلَيْهِ

A man is found with his limbs cut off.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُوجَدُ مَقْطُوعًا

Who said: There is no increased blood money in dinars and dirhams?

‌مَنْ قَالَ: لَيْسَ فِي دِيَةِ الدَّنَانِيرِ وَالدَّرَاهِمِ مُغَلَّظَةٌ

A man agrees to blood money, then kills the killer.

‌الرَّجُلُ يُصَالِحُ عَلَى الدِّيَةِ ثُمَّ يَقْتُلُ الْقَاتِلَ

A woman becomes pregnant from adultery.

‌امْرَأَةٌ حَمَلَتْ مِنَ الزِّنَا

The ferry operator transports animals.

‌صَاحِبُ الْمَعْبَرِ يَعْبُرُ بِدَوَابَّ

Regarding the earlobe.

‌فِي شَحْمَةِ الْأُذُنِ

The people injure each other.

‌الْقَوْمُ يَجْرَحُ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا
