It is narrated from Hazrat Anas that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered retaliation in the tooth and said: "The Book of Allah..." meaning that which Allah has made obligatory is retaliation.
حضرت انس سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے دانت میں قصاص کا حکم دیا ہے اور فرمایا کہ ” کتاب اللہ۔۔۔ “ یعنی اللہ کا فرض کردہ وہ قصاص ہے۔
Hazrat Anas se marvi hai keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne daant mein qisas ka hukum diya hai aur farmaya keh "kitab Allah..." yani Allah ka farz karda woh qisas hai.
Hazrat Muhaarib Ibn Dithar narrated that two men came to Shareeh, one of whom had extracted the molar tooth of the other. So, the other (i.e., the victim) said, "He should give me his molar tooth in retaliation." Shareeh said, "A tooth is given in retaliation for a tooth. So, both of you should go."
حضرت محارب ابن دثار کا ارشاد ہے کہ دو آدمی شریح کے پاس آئے ایک نے دوسرے کی ڈاڑھ نکال دی تھی اور دوسرے نے اول کی تو انھوں نے فرمایا یہ دانت بھی داڑھ کے بدلے ہوتا ہے لہٰذا تم دونوں چلے جاؤ۔
Hazrat Mohareb bin Dasaar ka irshad hai keh do aadmi Sharaeh ke paas aye aik ne dusre ki daadh nikaal di thi aur dusre ne awwal ki to unhon ne farmaya yeh daant bhi daadh ke badle hota hai lihaza tum donon chale jao.
Hazrat Ibn Juraij narrates that I asked Hazrat Ataa about taking retaliation for the eye. He replied yes. Retaliation for the tooth will also be taken.
حضرت ابن جریج کا ارشاد ہے کہ میں نے عطائ سے پوچھا کہ آنکھ کا قصاص لیا جائے گا تو انھوں نے جواب دیا کہ ہاں اور دانت کا بھی قصاص ہوگا۔
Hazrat Ibn Juraij ka irshad hai keh maine Ataa se poocha keh aankh ka qisas liya jaye ga to unhon ne jawab diya keh haan aur daant ka bhi qisas hoga.
