What is said about the supplication when a man lies down to sleep.
مَا قَالُوا فِي الرَّجُلِ إِذَا أَخَذَ مَضْجَعَهُ، وَأَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ، مَا يَدْعُو بِهِ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 29307
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Babah narrated that Hazrat Abu Hurairah said: Whoever recites this dua while lying on the bed, "There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the One, the Sole, the Unique. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things, the Almighty. Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Him, as perfect are all His attributes. All praise is due to Allah, there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and Allah is the Most Great." - Allah Almighty forgives all his sins, even if they are like the foam of the sea.
حضرت عبداللہ ابن باباہ فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابوہریرہ نے ارشاد فرمایا : جو شخص بستر پر لیٹتے وقت یہ دعا پڑھے اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں جو اکیلا ہے، جس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ہے، اسی کا ملک ہے اور اسی کے لیے تعریف ہے، اور وہ ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے، اللہ پاک ہے اور اپنی تمام تعریفوں کے ساتھ ہے، سب تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں، اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ہے اور اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے۔ تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس شخص کے تمام گناہ معاف فرما دیتے ہیں اگرچہ سمندر کی جھاگ کے برابر ہوں۔
Hazrat Abdullah ibn Baba farmate hain ki Hazrat Abu Hurairah ne irshad farmaya: Jo shakhs bistar par lait te waqt ye dua parhe Allah ke siwa koi ma'bood nahi jo akela hai, jis ka koi sharik nahi hai, usi ka mulk hai aur usi ke liye ta'reef hai, aur wo har cheez par qudrat rakhne wala hai, Allah pak hai aur apni tamam ta'rifon ke sath hai, sab ta'rifen Allah hi ke liye hain, Allah ke siwa koi ma'bood nahi hai aur Allah sab se bada hai. To Allah Ta'ala us shakhs ke tamam gunah maaf farma dete hain agarche samundar ki jhaag ke barabar hon.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَابَاهُ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يَأْوِي إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، غُفِرَ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ "
