كِتَابُ الدُّعَاءِ
Who loved to say in his supplication: 'Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and save us from the torment of the Fire.'
مَنْ كَانَ يُحِبُّ إِذَا دَعَا أَنْ يَقُولَ: ﴿رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ﴾ [

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 29341
Hazrat Habib ibn Sibhan narrates: I heard Hazrat Umar while he was performing Tawaf of the House of Allah, and it was not his habit but to pray with these words: O our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the torment of the Fire.
حضرت حبیب بن صھبان فرماتے ہیں : کہ میں نے سنا حضرت عمر کو اس حال میں کہ وہ بیت اللہ کا طواف فرما رہے تھے، اور نہیں تھی ان کی عادت مگر ان کلمات کے ساتھ دعا کرنے کی : اے ہمارے رب ! تو ہمیں دنیا میں خوبی دے اور آخرت میں بھی خوبی دے، اور ہمیں آگ کے عذاب سے بچا لے۔
Hazrat Habib bin Saban farmate hain : keh maine suna Hazrat Umar ko is hal mein keh woh Baitullah ka tawaf farma rahe the, aur nahin thi un ki adat magar in kalimat ke sath dua karne ki : Aye hamare Rab! Tu humain duniya mein khubi de aur aakhirat mein bhi khubi de, aur humain aag ke azab se bacha le.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ صَهْبَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ حَوْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ هِجِّيرَى إِلَّا هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ : " ﴿ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا ﴾ [ البقرة : ٢٠١ ] عَذَابَ النَّارِ "،
