Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 29401
Hazrat Ali bin Rabia narrates that the Commander of the Faithful made me ride behind him on his mount, then he started walking towards Harrah, then he raised his head towards the sky and prayed: Forgive my sins, verily, there is none who can forgive sins but You. Then he turned to me and started laughing. On this I said, O Commander of the Faithful! You asked your Lord for forgiveness of sins and then you turned to me and started laughing? So he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made me ride behind him on his mount. Then he took me towards Harrah. Then he raised his head towards the sky in the same way and prayed: O Allah! Forgive my sins. Verily, there is none who can forgive sins but You. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned to me and started laughing. On this, I submitted: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! You asked your Lord for forgiveness. And then you turned to me and started laughing? So you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: I smiled because of my Lord's smile that Allah is surprised at His servant that he knows that there is none who can forgive but Allah.
حضرت علی بن ربیعہ ارشاد فرماتے ہیں کہ امیر المؤمنین نے مجھے اپنے پیچھے سواری پر بٹھایا پھر حرہ مقام کی جانب چلنے لگے پھر اپنا سر آسمان کی طرف بلند کیا اور یہ دعا پڑھی : میرے گناہوں کی بخشش فرما : بیشک تیرے سوا کوئی بھی گناہوں کی بخشش نہیں کرسکتا۔ پھر وہ میری طرف متوجہ ہو کر ہنسنے لگے۔ اس پر میں نے کہا، اے امیر المؤمنین ! آپ نے اپنے رب سے گناہوں کی بخشش طلب کی اور پھر میری طرف متوجہ ہو کر ہنسنے کیوں لگے ؟ تو انھوں نے فرمایا : رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھے سواری پر اپنے پیچھے بٹھایا۔ پھر مجھے لے کر حرہ مقام کی جانب چلنے لگے۔ پھر اسی طرح اپنا سر آسمان کی طرف اٹھایا اور یہ دعا فرمائی۔ اے اللہ ! میرے گناہوں کی مغفرت فرما۔ بیشک آپ کے سوا کوئی بھی گناہوں کی بخشش نہیں کرسکتا۔ پھر میری طرف متوجہ ہو کر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہنسنے لگے۔ اس پر میں نے عرض کیا : اے اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! آپ نے اپنے رب سے بخشش طلب کی۔ اور پھر میری طرف متوجہ ہو کر ہنسنے کیوں لگے ؟ تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا؛ میں مسکرایا اپنے رب کے مسکرانے کی وجہ سے کہ اللہ اپنے بندے پر تعجب کرتا ہے کہ وہ جانتا ہے کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی بھی مغفرت نہیں کرسکتا۔
Hazrat Ali bin Rabia irshad farmate hain keh Ameer ul Momineen ne mujhe apne peeche sawari per bithaya phir Harra maqam ki janib chalne lage phir apna sar aasman ki taraf buland kiya aur yeh dua parhi: Mere gunaahon ki bakhshish farma: beshak tere siwa koi bhi gunaahon ki bakhshish nahin karsakta. Phir woh meri taraf mutawajjah hokar hansne lage. Iss par maine kaha, Aye Ameer ul Momineen! Aap ne apne Rabb se gunaahon ki bakhshish talab ki aur phir meri taraf mutawajjah hokar hansne kyun lage? To unhon ne farmaya: Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne mujhe sawari par apne peeche bithaya. Phir mujhe lekar Harra maqam ki janib chalne lage. Phir isi tarah apna sar aasman ki taraf uthaya aur yeh dua farmaee. Aye Allah! Mere gunaahon ki magfirat farma. Beshak aap ke siwa koi bhi gunaahon ki bakhshish nahin karsakta. Phir meri taraf mutawajjah hokar aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) hansne lage. Iss par maine arz kiya: Aye Allah ke Rasul (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Aap ne apne Rabb se bakhshish talab ki. Aur phir meri taraf mutawajjah hokar hansne kyun lage? To aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya; Main muskraya apne Rabb ke muskurane ki wajah se keh Allah apne bande par ta'ajjub karta hai keh woh janta hai keh Allah ke siwa koi bhi magfirat nahin karsakta.
حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ، قَالَ : حَمَلَنِي عَلِيٌّ خَلْفَهُ ، ثُمَّ سَارَ بِي إِلَى جَانِبِ الْحَرَّةِ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ ، فَقَالَ : « اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُكَ »، ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ إِلَيَّ فَضَحِكَ ، قُلْتُ : يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اسْتِغْفَارُكَ رَبَّكَ ، وَالْتِفَاتُكَ إِلَيَّ تَضْحَكُ ؟، قَالَ : حَمَلَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَلْفَهُ ، ثُمَّ سَارَ بِي إِلَى جَانِبِ الْحَرَّةِ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ ، فَقَالَ : « اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُكَ »، ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ إِلَيَّ فَضَحِكَ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ اسْتِغْفَارُكَ رَبَّكَ وَالْتِفَاتُكَ إِلَيَّ تَضْحَكُ ؟، قَالَ : « ضَحِكْتُ لِضَحِكِ رَبِّي ، لِعَجَبِهِ لِعَبْدِهِ أَنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُهُ »
