كِتَابُ الدُّعَاءِ
What is supplicated for the sick when visiting them.
مَا يُدْعَى بِهِ لِلْمَرِيضِ إِذَا دُخِلَ عَلَيْهِ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 29491
Hazrat Ali narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would visit a sick person, he would supplicate, "O Lord of the people! Remove the hardship, grant cure, for You are the Curer. There is no cure except Your cure."
حضرت علی فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب کسی مریض پر داخل ہوتے تو یوں دعا پڑھتے : لوگوں کے رب ! تکلیف کو دور فرما۔ تو شفا دے تو ہی شفا دینے والا ہے، تیرے سوا کوئی شفا دینے والا نہیں۔
Hazrat Ali farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab kisi mareed par dakhil hote to yun dua parhte: Logon ke Rab! Takleef ko door farma. Tu shifa de to hi shifa dene wala hai, tere siwa koi shifa dene wala nahi.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ عَلَى مَرِيضٍ ، قَالَ : « أَذْهِبْ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ ، وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شَافِيَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ »
